I’ve always been baffled by the fact that Maxor makes no mention of how you can get a whitty, sexy, asian waifu as a co-pilot if you pick a plane with two seats.
He kinda alludes to it by images shown but yeah those pass by pretty quick.
Pretty sure he has a comment on the original video saying he didn't have the place to mention everything.
(Pretty sure Rimmy's Project Wingman video mentions her more? Been a while since I watched it)

Mercenary is actually less like a difficulty but rather a separate game mode - base three difficulties are playing with enemy stats and damage ratio, like most games do, but in Mercenary from the mission one enemies with burst missile launchers and ace squadrons are thrown at you, in the early missions you meet enemy railguns, land battleships, air battleships and mentioned aces squadrons on regular basis, not to mention overall doubled enemy quantity and variety. This mode is a love letter for Ace Combat veterans, who wanted extra challenge, and campaign modifiers can make it even more engaging.

Love this game. For an indie title it comes very close to the ace combat quality standard for 1/3rd the price, minus multiplayer.
I mean, it's a game made BY Ace Combat fans FOR Ace Combat fans so I have to say they did an AMAZING job.
Third of retail price, but production budget and dev team where like 20 times smaller - that is a feat.

PW is one of my favorite games from the last few years. It's a love letter to Ace Combat, but with all restraint removed. And "Showdown", the track that got Max0r pregnant, has lived in my head rent free.

I haven’t played Project wingman but hearing the first strings of ‘Kings’ being played almost makes me cry. I developed this after listening the Ace Combat OSTs for fucking hours. Megalith (Angus Dei) and it’s meme counter part, Daredevil, Zero, Kings, and Coronation are so fucking beautiful. Fun fact aswell every song in Project Wingman was made on a damn MacBook.

If I could properly harness my ADHD reliably, it would be a huge asset.
I mean, it's a post post apocalyptic society, so their currency probably has had less time to suffer inflation. It was apparently bordering on scandalous that Martha Washington's dress at a ball after the Revolutionary war was 100 dollars. So a society restarting and recovering faster than we developed the first go round could potentially buy a top line limo with 20 grand or less.
With the obscene missile loads, it's more like non transforming Veritech fighters from Macross, AKA one of the 3 anime that were pressed together in a vice to make robotech, and aesthetic cousin to Battletech with legally vexing doppelganger designs.

A game made to fill the Ace Combat shaped void wouldn't have worked without great music. Both this and AC7 have good music I listen to. Repteatedly.
Joshua is a whole thing, and apparently only met in person during the DLC. IIRC, he was the Legion's golden boy commander during the first battle for Hoover Dam, but for his single failure, he was set on fire, and thrown off a cliff. He lived.... somehow. Now he fights the Legion and has a fondness for 1911's.

Boss the music playing at 18:50 is not from Project Wingman. It is actually from Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War and the track itself is called The Unsung War.
right game series wrong song, the track is called Zero and its from Ace Combat Zero

Honestly for any fan of the Ace combat series, this is a fantastic game. I say it even has better gameplay in some regards. In AC games you are limited to 1 special be it bombs or missiles. In this game you can have 1-3 specials depending on the plane.
I don't think he has done max0rs review of "Control". I think he is ready.
