"Looking at my Gucci it's about that time." I love Philadelphia! I've always enjoyed my visits to that city. Man, there are some beautiful women in Philly. A lot of them, too. Anyway, I've seen these areas. And a lot of this is heartbreaking stuff. But Philadelphia also has a lot of beauty in it. It really does. Kelly Drive is something that comes to mind. Old City, Northern Liberties, Riverfront, Fairmount, Rittenhouse Square are also attractive. A lot of great schools in Philly, too. As well as some great art and architecture. But much like a lot of other cities, Philly is a place that isn't always appreciated. There's a lot of neglect. Abandonment. At least from what I saw. It's definitely a city of contrasts. I wonder if Charlie Bo went to any WaWa's while he was there? Thanks for posting these. Stay safe, stay healthy.

First time I've seen one of your hood during the lockdown videos there were no people flexing up in the street or hanging around in crowds outside the bodegas. The few people out that I saw all had masks, but maybe that's a rule in PA. At least even some of our more defiant citizens are finally getting the idea.
I think it was filmed early in the morning and that's why it's so dead... there's hardly any cars out. When I go to the supermarket or CVS or whatever I still see so many people out and about and I only live a few miles from here
Charlie.. What exactly are we supposed to learn from these excursions of yours? We might see "blight', or we may see "cherry blossoms". I see cities that have been used by politicians, to line their own pockets!
Jaime D that is one stupidass analogy. Nursing homes are essential places where the elderly are being taken care of. If you take them down then where tf they gonna go? Basketball is not essential.
Hey Charlie, West Philly would be a great place to interview locals. Why is the history of the MOVE bombing kept so quiet? Did you know.. on this day.. May 13, 1985, the Philadelphia Police Department dropped a military grade satchel bomb on a home known to be occupied by men, women, and children? They let the fire run rampant through the neighborhood, destroying dozens of homes and leaving hundreds homeless. Eleven people, including five children, were killed.
Another great one Charlie I can’t believe the streets are so narrow I been 2 hours away deeper in pa and the streets are the same I can’t get use to it living in NY for so long I guess there’s a reason for it 🤷♀️
For atleast the first half of the video this is not the “hood” physique you usually go for. That part of west Philadelphia is around 38th and Wallace and north east areas of it. What was shown here is a rough couple areas but nothing like the west mantua section. Pretty disappointed, thought for sure I’d see my house but you kept going up market and further up the #s. Hell the second half of the video isn’t even the “hood”, it’s a pretty nice area. Granted this is all daytime shot and I know that at night there’s not that many street lights so it’d feel spooky, but that area is soft enough to be comfy.
