PUV Modernization sinuspinde ng Senado -Ortega at Guadis walang nagawa

Leading the inquiry of Committee on Public Services on the implementation of the PUV modernization program, Tulfo asked the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to lift or extend its April 30 deadline for consolidation. He said the move to declare unconsolidated PUVs as colorum vehicles discriminates affected operators and drivers, while most transport route plans from local government units (LGUs), on the other hand, have yet to be approved by the board.
Tulfo added that PUV operators and drivers should also have a say in the LTFRB's route rationalization plan.
