Happy and Mad at the same time. I've been feeling sluggish, especially at Jones on my 160/150 Trail/Enduro bike and seeing friends on their XC racers fly by. The Signal Peak looks great & seeing you ride it on a trail I know very well... well now I want one.
Rode a Signal Peak while at Outerbike because it was the only bike I was able to get my hands on at the time. I was pleasantly surprised. It didn't feel like an XC bike at all. Even as a heavier rider myself, the suspension felt up to the task; at least on most of the blue trails.
How is this bike 27,5 in in that kit? Is it also an SL? Mine is 32 (Comp Shimano Base Model). I can't see ~5lb outta wheels, fork, and some pretty carbon bits. -U10
There’s a significant weight difference between the SL team version I had and the TR comp model you have. Frame, suspension, components, all much lighter when you move higher up on the model scale! The team model I had was spec’d for racing. After I changed the handlebars, grips, rear rotor, dropper post and added pedals it was another pound to 1.5 pounds heavier.
You got me at over 40 and 230lbs!! 😂 Subscribing! Ding!!
Thx for the sub! 🤙🏼
Stoked you loved it!

A couple of the builds are on sale, 😉
I’m starting to think, the right short travel bike will do just fine with the trails we have around here.
Which trail is this? Kinda looks like Lock but I haven't been there in years.
@@mesithjedi He's riding at Jones Mill MTB Trail, part of Long Hunter State Park off Percy Priest Lake.
