Many, many moons ago - 1987? - after ingesting a six of Schlitz, I found myself wandering the streets of the East Village in Manhattan. Craving some astronaut ice cream, I stumbled into a shop called Star Magic (who happens to carry said ice cream). While making the purchase, a CD on the next shelf caught my eye: "Seven Waves, Suzanne Ciani". On a whim, I purchased the CD along with the astronaut ice cream. I got home, put on the CD....and was transported to another place, a wonderful place (where no can of Schlitz could ever bring me). Thanks, so much, for this brilliant piece of work that should be the official soundtrack of the Milky Way.
I heard this music playing at a local Tower Records. It gave me chicken skin. I bought the CD. I used the music on my wedding day. I still listen to it. I had to purchase almost all her music. I never get tired of it. Thank you Suzanne Ciani. Your music lives on.❤️

I think I understand, after your talk in Melbourne, your progression to this album from buchla to here much better. Which does make me appreciate the full body of your work into "new wave".
Note for Note stolen by Thomas Dolby in "Flying North" which I like anyway. I guess "Sampling" should be free and easy. Wonderful Original music by Suzanne Ciani ! And, appreciated.
