My dad Micky Blake was born n bred Belfast.he was the last boy born of 8 and had a sister to.his mum Maggie magee.married his dad Martin Blake.and lived bond St.and Cromac sq..my dad left his beloved Belfast met and married my mum and happily married 58 years.and lived were I was and am still in St.Helens near Liverpool.he passed away near 3 years ago now aged 83 years..Cheltenham festival has never been the same since.we loved the racing.I miss his stories and songs but most of all his accent..wen I miss him much I watch the markets uploads to hear the old guys talking..my favorite song..."when I was a lad ".dolly mixtures and Saturday pictures. They were indeed his greatest days growing up..God Bless beautiful Ireland and Belfast.and thank-you for my Da..R.I.P. Michael Blake..proud of my Irish roots..

Today is my Grandma Janet Petti Birthday she's 90 and is in the nursing home I used to work at in NY, she is not allowed to leave her room or have visitors, I love her miss her and her mother was full Irish, they were gonna name her Patty but decided Janet was better. I haven't seen her in over 5 years and I used to take her everywhere and go to the movies and out for icecream, we are separated do to evil NY. Please pray for me that I get to see her again before she dies, I miss you Grandma and I'm sorry your locked in a nursing home on your 90th Birthday, Happy Birthday and St Patrick's day!🌻
