- Hey gamers, I'm finally making the video I've always wanted to make. People love Sonic Adventure 2, but they're just sheep who are blinded by nostalgia and I'm here to tell you the actual FACTS about why this game is BAD!
This is a serious video btw, the fact that its April 1st is just a coincidence.

I actually wasn't referencing anyone in particular, that is just a very common argument that I think is stupid as shit because nobody who plays chao garden is grinding city escape 100 times. Its such a bad take, but everyone parrots it to the point where people who haven't touched the game will repeat it. Same thing with alot of common opinions. Like its fine to not like a game, but when someone tells me why they dont like it and its the same shit i've heard on RUclips word for word, it makes me wonder if people are actually forming their own opinions based on their experience, or if they're just parroting what they hear on RUclips.

and honestly i hate the arguement in itself because many of those same creators circlejerk mario 64, a game which has obviously agedwith poor design decisions like sending you back to the map after every single star.
people bitch about replaying shadow the hedgehogs first stage 10 times but every single 64 level especially in the later half like tik tok clock and rainbow ride, seldom gets criticism.
like i don't mind people prefering other series to sonic, but for some reason sonic in particular has the most bullshit criticisms out of any series from sonic friends being annoying to the stories taking themselves too seriously like it's a bad thing to flesh out a world and play it straight.
like i think people have forgotten what opinions actually are, like just because they are subjective doesn't mean they're wrong, but like wise opinions which are wrong simply aren't valid despite being subjective, subjective doesn't mean made up it means personal interpretation, we interpret objective things, that's what makes an opinion subjective.
I am personally of the notion that SA2 is a terrible game that's held together with spit and dying dreams... but it's my terrible game held together with spit and dying dreams dammit!

I found my gamecube and then later found my sa2b disc so I put the disc and I had so much stuff I even had 177 emblems I remember when I got my gamecube on December 25 2003

It's okay, it's your opinion! But I still love it!!!! Maybe you used the wrong controller. The game was very smooth on the Game Cube. The different characters brought more gameplay variety and possibilities to explore the levels. The upgrade items also improved the game mechanics and the Chao Garden is a great diversion for collecting and breeding enthusiasts. I love the different missions like the hard mode and I got all A-ranks. 😎

Sonic adventure 2 is really fun but its just completely remove the fun part about tails and the mech is so slow eggman level and tails level are just trash sonic,shadow level and chao garden are the only thing that's keeping this as a masterpiece but tbh i actually enjoy playing it more than SA1 because SA1 story lack of map like the only map is Station square,mystic ruins and egg carier

Character and camera both control like s**t, bosses aren't fun or creative at all, pretty much every stage that isnt sonic/shadow actually is like pulling teeth to replay, chao garden is literally 90% of this games replayability, etc. basically everything you said that is bad about this game jokingly is actually bad about this game

I mean... SA2 is kinda janky, the controls are a little odd (especially in the non-speed stages, but they still have their moments), and the Chao garden, as much as I love it, is *way* too grindy if you don't abuse the glitch that lets you recycle animals and drives.
