Wow! Thanks so much for this video! We've been wanting to remove the loader on our BX23 for mowing, but we're a bit intimidated by the process. Your video was far better than the manual's description!
Love the channel! One thing you missed:. If you move the bucket to full dump then release the loader stand then curl the bucket it won't come crashing down as that probably isn't great for the loader stand. Thanks for sharing!
Great tutorial . Just got my BX2680 and this helped with my first disconnect. Better than the manual. Northern Indiana viewer. Amazed at having power steering. Mu old tractor was a manual steer.
Awesome video. I got my loader off in no time and I have zero experience on the tractor. That was the first time I started it. Now gotta figure out how to operate the mowing deck
Great Tutorial, we have a Kubota L2501 and been thinking about the BX series as well! We were hoping to buy a tractor from you last year but at the time the one we wanted was snagged:(. Another Michigander over here! Great channel my friend
I will say this looked cooler at first, I have a BX23S and if you are not on perfectly level ground it can be a pain to get it to go back on, also the trick to reattaching is to get the loader in the lower perch first then drive forward while lowering the boom and it will roll right into place, and this can be reversed for removal. Another recommendation is do not lock the top pins until the loader and completely reattached and sitting on perch with the knuckle down, as one might lock and the other wont and you'll have a bad day :)
Huge emphasis on the absolutely perfectly level ground. I tweaked the stand through years of taking the loader off and on. I was using part of my yard that was conveniently out of the way for storage, but not an area I have graded properly. It got progressively worse over the years, wasting my time and eventually got so bad the stand would no longer hold the load up, and I ended up replacing the stand. $500 for that puppy.
No matter what I do, when putting the bucket back on, the right side is a huge pain to get to lock into place. It just does not want to lock and takes 10-20 minutes of fighting it to get it locked in. That's on level concrete.
I have an 08' and dropping the "kickstand" for the loader is simple and not all those parts of the new one and 2 heavy duty "pins" to remove loader instead of the levers, and the hoses you take off 1 at the time is really no problem, that's cool but I'm a big fan of " if it ain't broke, don't fix it "
Question . Do you need a adapter from kubota too use the hydraulic quick connect when loader is off too add a after market attachment or can you still use single quick connects on that new design . Good demo thanks
@Bill Smith Horizontal is easier to connect... even JD put the singel point horizontal. There flat face couplers and the male side stay's on the tractor... you have 4 cover caps to put on the couplers
That quick connect for the hydraulics are crap Ive had my machine back 2 tims because of leaking ad now has to go back for the third time its leaking again
La344 loader is exasperation in my life I'm batting about .100 getting this thing to attach. I'm taking it in for the second time to repair and replace the bent and tweaked parts. I'll be selling it after my stupid insurance pays to repair it.
Beware of the quick coupler, it has to be perfectly aligned or it won't work . I have a brand new 23s and I'm going to shit can this in favor of single connectors. There are two kinds of operators, those who have had problems with this and those who will have problems with this.
The single point hydraulic connection is one of there weak points. Same with the baby front tires , no since in putting a front end loader on a lawn mower , unless you like fixing front end parts and it's 4wd , and the front axle is the worst weak point ...brand new bx2380 owner here ..trust me ..keep shopping or buy bigger ?

Awesome, glad it helped!
Update, how it go?

Good idea!
Thanks for the tip, I just got a bx and when I dropped the stand it startled me in the garage as it was a bit loud.
Very helpful, I just got this tractor and haven't got brave enough to take it off , but now I think I can. Thanks so much

I just got my bx2380 today! Thanks for the tips. Can't wait to start all the projects around my place. I've been waiting a long time.
Bought a BX2680 this past October, followed the instructions on this video, very nice 👍 on/off/on not a problem

No shit? That bracket for the hydraulics is amazing. It's the little details like that make me feel proud.

Good stuff! Looks a bit faster than my BX2360! Maybe I can convince my wife it's time for an upgrade.... ; )
It's a lot easier to re attach if you have the bucket at the 20 degrees as described in the manual , having done it a half dozen times
Maybe, but it wasn't hard this way either :)
Thank you - very helpful. Got the tractor yesterday.
I just bought this machine. Thank you. The instruction manual sucks.
Thank you so much for making this!
You're so welcome!
You are correct, just had stand replaced under insurance claim. Stand was bent at center stand cross bracket. 750$ cost.

I would think you'd need to match up with the single point adapter.
you can use single flat-face connectors to put on... but mostly you need 2 or more so a adapter is more convenient...
Eric Jansen 👍👍👍
This helped out ..thanks for the video!
👍 nice video, very informative
Thank you
Thanks Jim!
GREAT video.
Thanks!
If you order a front blade or something, does it attach on the single point hydraulics?
is this the LA344 pin on or the LA344S?
Heck yeah! I got to get one!!
Whoa!!! Thank you so much.
Why did they mount the connections horizontal? Won’t that get water in the hydraulics if its raining and you have to put it on?
@Bill Smith Horizontal is easier to connect... even JD put the singel point horizontal. There flat face couplers and the male side stay's on the tractor... you have 4 cover caps to put on the couplers
Got ya,
thanks

I took mine off today and I'm terrified that I frigged it up. ow comes the acid test. Flat surface? Oh yeah, I forgot that part too.

Looks like they took notes on the John Deere

I love Kubota but that system looks flimsy.
If I knew you I'd buy you a cold one.
