Hi, if its any help a quick way of opening up the shut line between wing and the door is to open up the spreader fully. Then place the bottom jaw on the underside of the wheel arch and the top of the spreader on the top of the wing. Then just close the spreader up which just crunches the wing up which opens up the shut line nicely. If you get it right first time you can then just close the spreader fully and place it in the gap right by the bottom hinge , open the spreader and the hinge pops. Repeat on the top hinge and you are sorted. If you are lucky and depending on the type of car you can have the door of with 3 movements of the tool. Hope this is useful. Regards Andy.
