It’s always interesting to me to see/hear other people’s opinion of Baltimore. It’s a tale of 2 cities here for sure. There are so many wonderful things here, you just always have to be aware of your surroundings and act like you live in a city.
Welcome to Baltimore sis. I love this city. Coming from Florida, it took some getting used to but after 20 yrs, this is my home! I reside in Federal Hill. It's pricey, but we'll worth it. If you can afford it, garage parking is the way to go. Baltimore is a beautiful city. It is multicultural, and there are lots of things to keep you entertained. 😊
Welcome to Baltimore…. I hope you have a great experience here. I’m born and raised here but moving in a couple of months as well. Happy Apartment Hunting. There’s some apartments in Pikesville that’s not too far from the city. Good apartments and affordable not cheap. The Avalon I believe. It’s located right behind the Pikesville Target, if you can resist the temptation. We also have a wegmans and Giants grocery stores near by. It’s a great area to live in. I’m moving to Houston and you’re right. I lived here all my life and while I’ve witness plenty of crime. None has ever happen to me.
I'm from Louisiana and lived in Dallas for a while. I live in PA and visit Baltimore. I like it there and people have been cool asf. All my trips have been solo and I haven't had any problems because I know the universal law of what not to do in a city you're not from. Wishing you much peace on your new journey. Oh, and I love Angie's Seafood. She and her son are cool asf. Always a chill vibe.
i love it so far! i heard a lot about houston crime before i moved there too and didnt see/experience any during the year i lived there. also havent seen/experienced crime in baltimore so hoping it stays that way!! the city is pretty clean in my opinion, its not like new york where theres trash and rats in the streets

Hello, I am got a job at JHH and will be relocating soon. Please could you send me the names of some apartments in downtown that are good and rent ain’t above 1500. Please. Thank you!!
I live in Baltimore and have so all my life and the rent is high no matter where you live a 1 bedroom is gonna cost 1500+ and if you move downtown it’s really gonna be expensive my current rent for a 1 bedroom apt is 1500
I’m from Washington DC but have been living in Baltimore for a while now I even bought my house here and gets a bad rep and it does have its problems, but I am noticing a trend of more and more people coming from out of state here when woman moved from San Francisco so yeah, it’s good to hear and see because I know, and people are starting to slowly, but surely learn that the pricing here is a little more reasonable than other states.
I'm so glad to hear you like Baltimore City. The only one that stood out to me was Canton Overlook.
yes i loved that one soooo much but it was for low-income😭😩
@@MindOfMalikalol I’m sorry but what do they consider low income
