Hi Leonhart! I've been here ever since u had 150k subs. Love ur channel! I keep my pokemon cards in top loaders and I use a Baby whipe container to hold my cards! I know it seems weird but hey my cards are in fantastic condition. Btw, Nice Video!!!😃
Can i please get some pokemon cards leonhart
Leonhart how did you comment six days ago on a video that came out an hour ago! Eh it doesn’t matter I like your content!
What took you so long to make this great vid??
I use UltraPro everything, but seriously, who makes the best "perfect fit" pennies?
Use protection kids
Oh I just noticed the joke

As soon as I saw this I already knew it
But how will I put the water XD
Really helpful for a new collector just picking up where I left off 20 years ago 😊😊

Watching this video cause I just found my whole collection from late 2000s
Thought they were all gone- so happy, I had everything
Nice.
Glad someone else's mom didn't throw their whole collection away.......😭
Alexanders VeryOwn my dad threw mine out when I was 10. I’m now 19. I lost a lot of vintage English and Japanese cards, but I’m starting a new collection now that I can.
@@dwightk.schrute394 Same, I'm starting a new collection. Starting with Cosmic eclipse and some hidden fates.
But I still can't get over the fact that I lost cards from the beginning to like the black and white era
Alexanders VeryOwn this is what I thought happened- my mom told me she tossed them I was so mad for so long. When I called her and told her I found them she was as happy as I was

Got it. We are trying to be cheap.
I respect it.
Over the years I've kept my phone boxes and I use them to store cards lol
(They're sorta like Elite Trainer boxes)
That’s a great idea I’m gonna try that
Dude same!!! My galaxy phone boxes are literally perfect for cards!!!
iPhone Pokémon edition
That’s what I did lol
Anybody here during the Pokemon boom of 2020? Lmao
Yes, I just spent 40 dollars on a charizard gx and ex and I plan on grabbing a Blaine's charizard as well

I thought of a good idea for maybe a video series. Pick one set and make videos of you trying to complete the whole set and then show it off. Maybe do it with a set budget for each week. Just a thought I had.
love that idea

I recommend top loaders or double sleeves
The only Pokémon cards that survived water from my house fire were those.
Single sleeve took water in like crazy
That really sucks man
Oh man I'm so sorry to hear about your house fire may God bless u 🙏
Welllllll..... Technically, you put the card in upside down in the perfect fit, then put the perfect fit, open end first into a normal sleeve so the card isnt upside down when playing, and protects from dust and some moisture.
The smaller sleeve was SOOOOO satisfying to watch the card go into.
This video was very helpful to me since I just started collecting Pokemon cards again. Thanks so much for the awesome tips Leonhart and keep up on the amazing videos dude.
Rite
Thanks Leonhart! I put my Shiny Kyurem EX in a Pokémon sleeve and then in a bigger penny sleeve, since I don’t have any Toploaders.
It's all us 90s kids, now some of us have kids ourselves and perhaps some disposable income to boot. 2021 is gonna be another good year for pokemon! Hopefully the rest of the world too!
Your videos are super good
I use those kmc tight fit sleeves and top loaders for my vintage holos or full art cards. Gx and holos I put in a binder. I always wondered what the best way was to store them. Great video 😄
Thank you so much! I store my cards in a binder where the cards are in a perfect fit sleeve, then a deck sleeve, and finally put in a side loader page. No other RUclips channel acknowledged this as good or bad so finding that was what you recommended helps a lot!
For sealed booster packs, you can use ultra pro tarrot card game sleeves. English booster packs fit flush due to the large size of the sleeves. If you collect vintage sealed topps pokemon boosters they will not fit. Use mayday games extra large penny sleeves.
Man your channel has grown rapidly congrats the last time I was here you was about 150k subscribers love your channel man keep it up 💪🏼💪🏼
Just starting my collection again and this was super helpful, great work, subbed!
I was raised to protect Pokemon cards. all of my cards are in mint condition 😂
Will theres no such thing as a mint card haha near mint
@@DistopiaKosaki true but you guys know what I mean
@@DistopiaKosaki are you dumb? There’s no such thing as mint condition? Have you not seen some of these graded slabs people are getting back with 9 & 10 Mints? Yes there are plenty of us who have MINT cards.
@@frankiebones4893 nope there is no such thing as a perfect card, they are graded 10 but it is still not perfect
@@DistopiaKosaki ok buddy have a good day. I am done here
Very informative video! Thank you very much! As a starter, this guide helped me a lot! Keep up the great work! 👍
Yo its been 2 years have you gotten any REALLY good cards?
I’m a new collector and new to PTCG in general! This was a huge help!! Thank you!
For storage containers you can use PLANO ammo boxes. Their olive green, air tight rubber sealed, perfect demmisions for standing boosters, or protected cards, and are about $4 dollars at your local walmart sporting sections. Their olive green in color. This is probably more suitable for the adult collector.
thanks a mountain for still having this video on the channel. checking it out in 2020 because the popularity of it all exploding adn the bad year really had me hit with just a tsunami of nostalgia and i realized i just had most of my stuff pack up in binders or boxes and tubs. safe from dust and pets but not really strong for a longer term colelction adn id love to protect things that might be worth it. too bad PSA or any grading is like 4-8 months+ for economical grading send outs for normals like me that maybe have the best card in the colelction only at like psa 7 or 8 but want to just put some memories in capsulse. preaty nice knowing whats potentialy good. though i do realize that pokemon cards are a different standard than yugioh and that ill ahve to take care of both colelctions differently
Awesome video! Ive been trying to find some other ways to store cards and packs besides the pokemon sleeves from the elite box and binders with removable pages but that pokeball binder seems super sturdy and reasonably priced also now that i know psa sleeves work for packs im so happy.
Great video. I've been collecting various cards since original Base set (sadly all my old stuff is all gone) and am very familiar with most of these. I've never seen those smaller penny sleeves and I would actually be a little worried about damaging edges/corners trying to fit the cards into them. Most of my rare Pokemon cards are in Ultra Pro penny sleeves+top loaders.
I thought the exact same thing until I tried them, I've been using those perfect fit sleeves for 2 years now and none of my cards have been damaged or bent
Kinda funny u released this on a day I'm organising a friends collection
Top Loaders will also fit in the elite trainer boxes very well
I just found that out the other day, it is amazing!
Thank you for the video - exactly what i was looking for!
I have a plastic card storage box similar to the cardboard ones that I got at walmart for my bulk. It's really nice and has sections much like the cardboard boxes do. :D
Aye this actually helped,I just ordered a bunch of ex and gx cards and I didn’t have anywhere to put them,so I bought a binder,I didn’t know how safe they would be so I looked up some tutorials and your video popped up
I mainly come from playing Magic the Gathering and I've found the best products to use are Dragon Shield sleeves. Sure, they're typically meant for competitive play, but I've been using them for my complete run of unlimited base set that I'm putting together. Dragon Shield also makes a sealable inner sleeve that I love, and they use no glue.
Trust me, this isn't me shilling. I've used and/or still use a variety of products from different brands on my decks. Just personal preference is for Dragon Shield.
Hey leonhart how should you ship your cards when getting them graded?
This is perfect thank you
I just got back into collecting Pokemon cards. I have around 1700 of them and just ordered a 100-pack of the KMC sleeves. I do have some of the deck protector sleeves as well, I will try out putting my most valuable into the KMC then deck protector into my side-loading binder and see how it goes. Thanks!

Ultra pro: The true his and her pleasure.
Why did I not think of putting my cards in the ETB. This was a major help. Finally found a use for all those ETBs I bought. :D
Thanks for the advices!Awesome video!
Noticed the elite trainer sleeves are slightly bigger than those pokeball sleeves you got, which I have bought the pokeball ones myself. I say that because when I put them in upside down and then in my binder, it's more difficult to put it with the elite trainer sleeves.
Always watch you when I need Pokémon related tips
I am getting a book today so this was very useful
Good use of double wrapping. You need all the protection you can get for your pocket monster
So helpful! Thank you @leonhart 😍😍😍
Amazing info and advice!! Thanks man!
Thank you Leon you really helped me prezerve my childhood
A bit late to the party but I have yet to find a consensus on this. I use two of the Ultra Pro binders featured in your video. All cards have deck protector sleeves, and all WOTC holos and all Ultra Rares are double-sleeved with KMC perfect fit inner sleeves. What I've been debating is whether it is better to stack the two binders horizontally/flat so that the pages don't sag, or vertically so that the pages aren't flattened. Thanks in advance!
Kept my cards flat in a binder for 20 years still minty
Thank you
Okay I know elite trainer boxes seem to be good for storing your normal cards but the cards can be crazily messed up while in there if not having any top loaders or sleeves
Would you actually recomend putting cards in penny sleeves AND playing sleeves when storing them then? Not and/or?
Yes, putting them in a regular binder will ruin the card if you're trying to get it graded, sleeve that bitch ASAP when you can and slap it in a card saver after
I got a Japanese pokemon pikachu team skull grunt box from pokemon center online and it came with one of those little boxes, card dividers, and sleeves. I dont have a very big collection of rare cards, maybe 15, so it's perfect for keeping those in.
This video was super awesome and informative! Really helpful! Pats on backs! I just pulled a Dragonite EX from an evolutions pack and I want to keep this baby looking real nice and pristine. Side note, that Pokémon binder is dope! Any chance anyone has a link for where I can get one?
Ultra Pro make's pro-fit sized sleeves as well if you don't want to spend so much for KM sleeves.
Awesome video!!! Thank you :)
Wow the game has changed since I was a kid... Thank you, there is so much out to protect and organize my cards, I didn't even know was a thing these days. I'm so out of touch now lol
I love these tips
What is your opinion on three-ring binders? Too much risk of damage by closing it wrong?
Also what about getting a binder with a zipper so it can be "sealed off" from dust?
I’m here super late 😔 but I wanted to know, should I sleeve all the cards I put into my binder? Or only sleeve the decent and good cards?
Awesome video! But do you the best way to protect a blister?
Informative video Leonhart thank you
Im in school at the moment im a sophomore and people at my school like cards and so do i and im thinking that i should put my commons and uncommons in a tin and better cards such as ultra rares and more in a mini binder.
Is this a good idea or nah?
You are one of the best Pokèmon players and also one of the best youtubers
Thanks Leon!
Leonhart I’m new to the Pokémon TCG and I don’t really play just collect I was wondering if I put the card in a kmc and deck sleeve then into my binder will it damage my cards over time? How would you store in a binder?
great educational video.
What is the best binder for ultra pro penny sleeves?
In my opinion vault x is a very good binder
I enjoy these videos it’s just I wish I had Pokémon cards like you
Thanks for the tips man
TYSM!
Ya I just grabbed my binder from when i was a kid and didn’t put deck protector so they all moves around and there corners are bent and killed
so ya
Leonhart can you please make a video about sending cards to get graded like how to send it how to mail it and how long would it take for it grade.
very helpfull, thank you
Use a penny sleeve normally then slide in the open end first into a top loader with the opening facing down, then store then in ziploc bags.
Thank you so much I got all of the things you got
me: hmm maybe i should get a binder or something for my old tcg collection haha, its not like i really play anymore may as well make it a proper collection

Great idea using elite trainer boxes!
i use KMC Perfect Size Sleeves. whats the best outter sleeve to use and still fit in a binder ?
whats the name or size of sleeves that you put your booster packs in it.
What should I do with my bulk cards and duplicates?
i have my rare/favriot cards in either sleeves or a binder and the common cards in a bunch of elite trainer boxes.
Drago from Bakugan same
What about the ultra pro platinum pages? Penny sleeves seem to stick out of the top of them a tiny bit on top. Should i search for a binder with the pages that you load from the side like the one you had?
Is there any particular reason that you don't recommend using deck protectors when putting a card in a top loader? Thank you!
Close your eyes at 8:27 and let you imagination flow 🤫😂
I-
Omg what the hell
Bruh (drinks holy water)
LMFAOO
LMAO
Does anyone know if they make big sleeves to protect blister packs?
Dude you're the ultimate collector
@leonhart I have my cards in penny sleeves and then in ultra pro platinum binder pages. It’s a tight fit, making the penny sleeve wavy and preventing the page stack from laying flat. Is this bad for the card long term? Will this tight fit bend the card over time?
Hey Leonhart , how do you store your cards that are in top loaders??
Leonhart! Where do you get the sealed penny sleeves for the PSA cards?? Thanks!
I'm just confused as to why the vault x binder or any binder for that matter was not mentioned?
Where do u buy the penny sleeves the PSA grated card will go into
What type of sleeves fit the binders best?
Does it matter if you use an elite trainer box sleeve in a top loader? Will it damage the card
Thanks leonhart! Great video like always 👌
Hello Leonhart, thanks for the great video. I don't know if you can help me with this question. I am starting collecting pokemon and dragon ball cards and also figures and I think I am over spending on them. Everytime a new product arrives and I like it then I purchased it. Do you think this is a good investment or should I buy only limited edition products or what is the limit for collectors? I don't have a lot of money so I don't know if what I am doing is worth to invest my money or if I should stop doing it. Thanks for your help and thanks for your awesome videos.
From my perspective of view, you should only get pokemon cards because the dragon Ball cards ain't worth and are not having a reputation in collectors society so you should get all the pokemon cards as they can price up to $5000 so yeah just my opinion 😊
Tank you
How can you protect the cards if there was a flood or fire? What fir proof or water proof lock boxes should we use?
could you recommend a card deck album/binder with a pocket size big enough to fit a toploader ?
Head over to amazon and paste this in.
"Pioneer Photo Albums BSP-46/BK 204-Pocket Post Bound Leatherette Cover Photo Album for 4 by 6-Inch Prints, Black"
It's technically a photo album, but the dimensions are perfect for Ultra-Pro Toploaders. A toploader is 4x3, so a 4x6 photo album sleeve fits 2 toploaders side by side perfectly. Actually got this recommendation from a youtube video, and the reviews on it are from people doing similar things with cards. And it's only $12.99...
Thank you for sharing. Nice video too!
I love your videos!!!
Hey leonhart why don't you recommend a deck sleeve inside a toploader if you do not mind me asking
