Guess That Simpsons Reference Challenge (React)
"I took multiple film classes"
*Doesn't get pulp fiction*
Or Psycho Or One flew over the cuckoo's nest
To be fair he said he hasn't seen it in a while
@@nikk796 He got Psycho.
Didn't Eric drop out?
He's seen the episode which is littered with Pulp Fiction references and didn't know it was referencing Pulp Fiction.
Film student that's seen no movies

nice 👌
When they didn't know Pulp Fiction I knew we were in for a rough episode
Sabrina Spencer It’s hard to believ
Never heard of it
Some of them did know it though.
i guessed it bc i saw a bit of the movie
never heard of it . i didn't even know
I hate to tell you this Chelsea, and I am sure that somebody might have already mentioned it, but the horse head used in The Godfather was real. It was supplied by a dog food company. I am not joking; the director mentions it in the commentary for the film.
DAMN!!!
Gotta respect the actor sleeping with a real decapitated horse in his bed
@@bc_gaming4502 He Didn't Know The Head IS Real, His Screaming IS Actually Real.
@@bc_gaming4502 Ever wonder how you get a horse head into a bed under the covers without the guy waking up? What do you do, hit the guy with a tranq or chloroform before you put it in?
Garrett Bays was looking for this exact comment, I said the same thing sorry Chelsea
Not knowing Pulp Fiction and The Godfather actually pissed me off.
Christian Krasimiroff Even one who got it thought it was wrong😂
Christian Krasimiroff That and also not doing one from “The Shining” pissed me off
@@EChacon Yeah.
Nobody got one flew over
not the only one
How can you have gone to film school and never seen all of psycho? Whatever school you went to screwed you over
He didn't go to film school. He said he took a few film classes. There's a big difference between taking a class and going to school for it. If you're going to call people out, at least get what they said right.
@@maplenerd22 He bragged about his grades though, typical ingrate
@@ananasbanana - When you take classes, you do get graded on assignments and tests. Is that news to you? Again taking a classes is COMPLETELY different than going to film school. I can take classes in oil painting. That doesn't make me an expert or knowledgeable in painting.
Maplenerd22 Sounds like a triggered loser whose only hope is film school
He didn’t know the basics of classic films
That’s an L you moron
@@ananasbanana what? He meant that he got too high of a mark since he couldnt tell which movies were shown.
"I've taken multiple film classes"
*thinks the psycho reference is saw*
He got the Psycho one right, but he's never seen the entire movie.
this should be done with adults and/or seniors.
They should have added The Shining episode.
“No TV and no beer make Homer something something.” “Go crazy?” “Don’t mind if I do!”
Right!? That is exactly what I was waiting for!
"I've took multiple film classes"
Doesn't know pulp fiction.
The word "sad" applies here.
Hasn't seen Psycho
Didn't know what One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was
This was just sad to watch. So many iconic movies they had no clue about, just f'n sad showing from all of them.
This episode: Kids haven't watched classic movies.
To be fair, depending how old they are, they may not have been allowed to see them for most of their lives. Just saying.
why should they have vatched it? they're kids...i mean, have you ever watched EVERY single movie in history cuz i dont think you did
@@marianimanuel3637 No one said anything about every movie ever made, but the most famous and iconic ones of all time.
How did not one person get One Flew Over the Cuckoo Nest. It is one of the greatest films ever made
i haven't heard of it maybe because i am just 15 . what is the genre is it like a mystery psycho thriller ?
I was waiting for the shinning reference to be on there.
Homer: no bear, no TV makes Homer something something
Marge: go crazy?
Homer: don't mind if I do...
No TV and beer makes Homer go crazy
Is her name really ribonucleic acid?
Javier Calderon Jr. its Mia khalifa
@Munro McLaren .......RNA......
I feel personally attacked that barely any of them had seen "Pulp Fiction". :(
YESSS! I had it in the first 3 seconds! It's a classic!
or any of them.........
Kids these days... not knowing Pulp fucking Fiction
Wait how is Eric a film major if he’s never seen anything lol
Life's a mystery
Can't explain how much his lack of film knowledge has pissed me off.
he mentioned he took film CLASSES he is NOT doing a major in film, there is big difference in taking a CLASS versus doing a MAJOR.
Uteah
"The head looks so real too"
Because it was. Real horse's head, bought from a butcher
The biggest downside for the Netflix generation... virtually no exposure to any film made before 2000, with the exception of a few token "classics" that Netflix occasionally streams.
That actually is way more than earlier generations got!
True. This makes it worse. Half of these films are available 24/7. In the past you had to wait month for a video and actively go out and buy it.
My wager was right that none of them would know the last one. Officer and a Gentleman really didn't keep up with time. The other movies continued to be big/popular and were referenced and quoted a lot. They became classics that lots of younger people still kind of know a little.
no one:
Eric: I got too high of a grade
Fr
My god, kids need to watch better movies.
They’re not memes so they didn’t get the references
kids now a days watch crap movies when their are so many great options for past and current films and it depressed me....like if you went to see norm of the north because of that commercial unironically with the current animation we have had the last 30 years i think humanity as regressed and some people with low chromosomes have breeded with their cousins and formed stupid kids who can buy into that shit....
Aldo Raine Kids ? I’m younger than they are, and I’ve seen and knew all these movies
I mean, I'm 26 and I think all of these movies were made before I was born. Only got 3 of them.
Gorlaami
They don't even know Richard Gere? This is just sad
Most of the writers on the Simpsons are probably Gen X (maybe a few Boomers), so they've got completely different cultural touchstones than the Millennial reactors. Even so, some of those wrong guesses were shocking.
If they can't get Pulp Fiction right then these people aren't allowed to be classified as Millennials, even.
@@AaronRClark Yeah, I'm a millennial and I've seen Pulp Fiction. 😊
none of the kids here are Y gen (Millennials) they are too young too be Y gen
Yep, Psycho and PulpFiction should be obvious
Half of their guesses were from movies that came out after those Simpsons episodes aired.
Saw.. Talladega Nights.. Million Dollar Baby.
If you're guessing a movie that came out after 1997, you're probably wrong.
lol Eric "I haven't seen Pulp in years" seems like he hasn't seen at all, as it's one of those films that you can't forget! Especially with the scenes with Sam Jackson and John Travolta
Its possible he saw the movie just the once. Not everyone has to see every movie over and over again.
He thought One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest was talladega nights. That makes me want to die.
I don’t think Eric took any film classes🤦🏼♂️
Those were iconic films and he had no clue and claims he is taking film making classes.
The fact that they didn't all IMMEDIATELY guess Pulp Fiction is so fucking depressing! Holy shit.
Exactly! An officer and a gentleman I get, but fucking Pulp Fiction?!
"One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" is one of the best movies ever in the Cinema history, so disappointed since all of them ether an Adults or Collage kids !!!! like wow .....
I’m 16 and even I’ve seen it, they’re all just retarded
Same! How is it possible to not know this?
Omar Z i knew this movie too but I couldn’t remember what it was called
It's old. Who's gonna know it?
Chelsea: “The head looks so real.”
Los Angeles Times: “It was a real head, Coppola says, but it came from a slaughterhouse where horses were being destroyed for dog food.”
“That horse head looks so real”
Probably because it was a real fucking horse head
Fun Fact: The severed horse's head in _The Godfather_ looks so realistic because the head and the blood are actually real.
and the poor actor's reaction was real
WHAT??????
I am shocked because I would have gotten the highest score. I can not believe they did not know those movies. I mean Godfather seriously and Pulp Fiction.
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is so good!!
I feel like the Staff Reacts crew would have nailed these because of the age difference. I got them all and it makes me feel old AF.
I thought the same thing more or less... "When being old actually pays off" lol
Same here.
I got all of them except the last film and im only 21.
I'm 47, so I knew those references, but most young adults today don't know movies 30 years old and older. I am not surprised they struggled with this.
42 here. I know the feeling.
Everyone who didn't get the first one at the first frame shown, has lost forever in my book.
"That horse head looks so real"
Trivia: It was. Copala didn't like the reactions the actor was giving so they called up a glue factory, got a real head, and without telling the actor, swapped the prop head for the real one.
1) Pulp Fiction
2) One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
3) Psycho
4) The Godfather
5) An Officer and a Gentleman.
Have these people ever seen a movie? Ever? I feel like donating to a fund to send them to a movie.
Seriously! lol
Indeed.
I've watched 1 of those movies. Pulp Fiction. I'm not into horror, the italian mafia or old films.
3/5; I've never seen Pulp Fiction, and I only got An Officer and a Gentleman after I saw the original clip.
@@eddietdead you don't have to be into the Italian mafia to like the Godfather. It's just a good movie, imo
Ulises and Morgan were having the time of their lives lol
This episode makes me feel sad for young people
I'm younger than them and still know about these movies. They have no excuses.
jjmalaprop I’m 16 and got them all
Why?
@@blockmaniac4898 cus hes an idiot
Lol.... They just aren't into looking into the classics and probably feel a classic to them is something from the 90s or early 2000s. But generational interests change, so can't really blame them for not knowing the classics, or the ones that the Simpsons are imitating.
These people grew up in caves or under a rock somewhere, right?
Sad, especially with how easy it is these days to access any film on the net. FBE needs to start having "Movie Nights".
This is sad to watch
South Park version plz.
So many subtle references
I don't know what watching, or not watching, the show has to do with anything. If you're just guessing what the clips referance, then it doesn't matter.
We have got to sit down with these kids and show them the classics!
If you are to find this comment, CONGRATULATIONS! I wish you a bright and positive day and a peaceful and good night's sleep! Love From AN aRtisTic RUclipsr! 💙💙💙
The horse head looked real because it was an actual real horse head lol
Maybe wrong generation to guess it.
Morgan Not field or Freeman I´m literally 17 and I knew all of them
Imagine if the simpsons made a reference of this react episode because it has the simpsons lmao
Knows no films despite multiple film classes, the epitome of my community college classmates
“Black beauty”
“War horse”
_Laughs hysterically_
They know every meme but can't recognize classic movie scenes. The world is dying 1 insta story at a time.
Imagine that..... they know things from the present but aren't familiar with things that came out 10-35 years before they were born.
Shocker. The world fucking changes and doesn’t watch the EXACT same movies that you have. Hey, did you know that culture can shift over time into other aspects? You aren’t as wise as you make yourself out to be. Fucking open your eyes and accept the changes made in our world. Sure, some aren’t good. But we can’t change them.
k but like most memes are from Reddit.
its one thing if this was like indy films or smaller ones..they showed 4 of the most popular films ever from every decade since the 60's...
Chelsea's energy is refreshing
This competition was definitely for FBE Staff because I was with the players I didn't know any of the references either lmao! 😂😂😢😢😭😭😭
Do these people never watch movies or something?
None of these references were even obscure, these are all iconic
Who else would volunteer to do a SMALLL RUclipsRS REACT?!?!?! I can't be the only one! 😅
Or: Audiences react to people who have never watched a single movie
I’m surprised they were allowed to show The Godfather scene on RUclips because the severed horse head is real...
Eric- "I've taken multiple film classes and apparently I got too high of a grade."
Also Eric- "I said The Simpsons Movie" (after watching THE SIMPSONS parody Pulp Fiction on a challenge where he has to guess what movie THE SIMPSONS are referencing.)
Smh 🤦🏻♂️ haha
He meant "too high of a grade" as in he didn't deserve to get as high of a grade in those classes as he did because he clearly doesn't know classic film.
Eric needs to change his major.
Technically Luis got it wrong it’s not “psyco” lol
In Italy that Is its title.
Adults that can’t spell.
I’m literally from South Africa and I got all of these..
I got a clean sweep 100% on this quiz. These kids need a pop culture transplant NOW! Nobody got Cuckoo's nest except as a second guess, srsly wtaf?
Markwentsleightlymad I’m 34 and never seen ‘One Flew Over...’ so... big deal. Not everybody is going to watch every movie that exists. ‘Citizen Kane’ is widely considered the best film of all time and I’ve still never seen it and don’t have much internet in seeing it.
I was waiting for the ‘The Music Man’ reference in Marge vs. the Monorail
I knew them all but “An Officer and a Gentleman“. Never even heard of that one. I guess it was never that big here in Germany.
But those other ones... Come on! Have these kids never watched a movie before?
Same here. No problem with any of them. Would have "bet" all my points to take the last one, and would have failed and lost them. So that is a neat mechanic =)
How have these kids not seen Pulp Fiction!!!!
How old were you when you saw it?
@@adamstringer7092 I don't actually remember. But these are teens, and it's a classic! Lol I probably just saw it young because it was one of my dad's favorites.
brittwilhoit You see, my parents didn’t let me watch it until I was 18, because that was the age rating.
As a film buff, this was hurtful to see
Same, same.
I grew up watching The Simpsons and I’ve seen every episode at least 6 times so it always catches me off guard whenever someone says they’ve never even seen one episode lol
Cuckoo's nest was such a good movie
I don't think they included the whole One Flew Over the Cuckoo Nest reference. I also remember Barney throwing a water fountain through a window and escaping. No wonder they didn't get it!
Proving, once again, that these kids know nothing about pop culture from before they were born.
How do you mess up a Jack Nicholson movie. The only person who guessed an ACTUAL Jack Nicholson movie was the Shining (even though it was wrong). So sad.
I was surprised they knew the psycho reference and not the pulp fiction one.
Same I’ve never watched pulp fiction yet I got it, I saw a clip
Psycho is really iconic though because of that score. Not too mention it's parodied often.
How did they not know One flew over the cuckoo's nest, it's a classic !
New generation bro
@@suleimanashraf8058 but I'm only 15 and it's one of my faves 😂

I being a biology student cannot get over the fact that her name is RNA 😝
No one knew how to spell psycho lol.
Typical Americans
my god, they were TERRIBLE at this one
Same as them, I have never watched any of these.
That's how you Can tell None of them ever heard about the Simpson's or watch an episode only through Predictions & Meme's that's about it. Disappointment follows them
7:16
*That doesn't look like chocolate syrup*
Me- *😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂*
The reason the head looks real is because it is Real..
The head was taken from a horse that died from natural causes and it was signed off on by the owner, they wanted to make the scene as realistic as possible so they just did it.
Some of them can't even spell psycho 😂
Do a "Guess That South Park Reference Challenge" next.
Me dying when I saw the One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest reference.
The last one is the only one i never seen the movie. Everything else was easy as hell, and how could they not have seen those other movies!? At least pulp fiction.
Shant's name fits him so well. He "shant" complete the game!
All of these were so easy.
How boring it must be to watch things, like the Simpsons, not knowing the references.
ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOOS NEXT IS SO GOOD ! if you haven’t seen it I deff recommend you watch or read the book. It was a somber yet beautiful in many ways.
7:20 Chelsea, fun fact~ The head is real. :)
Roland Schlösser 😬😬😬
guess that the amazing world of gumball reference
Please
3 people only got right on pulp fiction? im ashamed as a human
The simpsons are the best animation serie of all times, at least for me. The reference of pulp fiction i knew it the second i saw it.
these people don't know what Marcellus Wallace looks like, time for some Ezekiel 25:17
that was just SAD!
I can understand not getting all of them (I did though)
but not knowing pulp fiction or the godfather is outrageous
How didn't they get the movies even when shown the clips???
They were shown the clip after they guessed, not before.
Cuz some people dont watch old movies?
@@thomaskleist9825 These are iconic references that have been referenced in many films and tv shows.

I haven't seen Godfather, but I got that one.
I haven't seen An Officer and a Gentleman, but I got that one.
7:20 I can be wrong, but I've heard that they actually used a real horse head, so that's why it looks so real.
How could they miss One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Next?
I have seen that movie a hundred times and even I couldn't guess it. Its just that smothering someone with a pillow is a very common scene.
