The villain in the first story ended up proving he's a crook and a third rate lawyer. His aspiration extended further than his skill as a lawyer and he embarrassed himself by making that more clear than he wanted.
Spied-on woman: NTA You needed to put that creep in his place. That is scary sh!t, girl. Is it possible to have a taller fence built, so that he cannot see into your yard? Is it possible for you to talk to his wife, so that she can keep a close watch on HIM? Stay safe.
the busy body story: what he is doing is in some cases counts as invasion of privacy and if I knew his name would put a sign in the yard, if allowed, telling him to mind his own business going forward. Worse comes to worse bring the matter up with the local police.
op in the first story need to remember, that criminal stuff isent the only thing a lawyer can help you with. and even if the lawyer isent within the specific field op needs help with the lawyer can give op a name to contact if needing help with lets sey writh a contract, legal things in a contract, making a will and simular issues to this, also if buying or selling property. and probably a bunch of other things that wouldent neceserly involve a judge etc.
If that had happened in America they would likely also be getting a payday from the cops as well for false arrest and imprisonment as they had no real evidence past an anonymous tip and no grounds for imprisonment.
As for what stories I prefer tbh I like a mix of them all, if there is a mix least there is something we all like and those of us who like them all get all our itches scratched 😊
what I do not understand is how can a person be jailed when no solid evidence against that person exists? So much for innocent until proven guilty. Please be sure you can always prove your innocents because it seems like that is how the law is these days.
I would say that in the second to last story, that it sounds as if the OP's neighbor might have drifted into stalking territory. Und there are now some pretty serious laws in place to protect people from stalkers.

As far as what kind of stories to tell, any kind BUT those( Am I The A-Hole) kinds of stories. telling those types of stories is like a mystery novel with the last chapter missing. I like to have an ending to the stories. I enjoy listening to you narrate the stories. I also love Cats, so clips of Disney are appreciated.
First story this guy might of made his MONEY from oil but it doesn't sound like he actually worked in the oil industry. While there have been patches of oil found on the surface you don't mine for oil you drill for it so digging a pit to find oil makes no sense what so ever
Nosy Neighbor story: I would have had One conversation immediately. If the problem continued my next conversation would have been with the police. What neighbor was doing could be considered stalking, which is a crime.
Story 1: Good to see the law sometimes puts away crooked lawyers. Story 2: OP's brothers EX - charging $200.00 = now her turn. LOL, what goes around, comes around. Story 3: Good for Sam. Looks like your kitty wants to play with that other cat.
i like the way they handeld it when op was going for a passport. when realising they had messed up with what documents was needed on their website they accepted what documents op had and granted the passport. afther all it wasent op that scrwed up there :)
The nosy neighbor has some serious issues! Is it only the female neighbor he watche so close or is he like that with the other neighbors? Talk to his wife about it, tell her it is obssevive, and borderline stalker behavior to you. Depending on if she takes you seriously or brushes aside your concerns, call the police and & complain about harassment and borderline stalking behavior. They will talk to him. If it continues call a lawyer for a cease and desist order. Maybe even ask about a restraining order, that includes a 500 ft. limit on how close he can come to you or your yard. The threat of not being able to live with his family might be a big enough thump on the head to get his attention to back off.

Babysitters get $8 an hour. At least that's the standard going rate, so even an 8-hour day is only $64. So $200 for a few hours, that's a little out of whack. 5 hours that's $40 an hour for $200.
Wealth guy getting leeched. I would cancel their return flights and put the hotel bills and amusement park bills in their names then just go to another amusement park and flip hotels for remainder of trip. Think swapping Walt Disney for Universal. Then block the leeches on everything.
I live in California and that's not that crazy for child care here. you can find a teenager or collage student for around 15~18 an hour but licensed child care is around 30+ an hr

The HOA Stories
Crazy Karen Stories
I like the "I don't work here, lady" ones. Those are my favourite 😊
Me personally I prefer a mixture of story types ⭐🌟🌟🌟⭐🌟🌟🌠⭐🌟🌟🌟⭐⭐⭐🌠🌟⭐🌟🌟🌟⭐🌟🌠
The villain in the first story ended up proving he's a crook and a third rate lawyer. His aspiration extended further than his skill as a lawyer and he embarrassed himself by making that more clear than he wanted.
Both are good types of stories
Ripe I like both the crazy Karen und the HOA stories.

My favorite stories are “Petty/ Pro/ Nuclear Revenge.” I get deep satisfaction imagining the scenarios.
Nosy neighbor: He may be OCD or on the spectrum but that still wouldn't make you wrong to be disturbed about it.
I like the malicious compliance stories.
I have never seen a barbeque that took less than 3 hours for cooking.
the busy body story: what he is doing is in some cases counts as invasion of privacy and if I knew his name would put a sign in the yard, if allowed, telling him to mind his own business going forward. Worse comes to worse bring the matter up with the local police.
