I would add one more thing. You can set up your home button to turn the grid on/off by pressing it 3 times. So you can turn it off before you hit the ball and avoid lag on needle.
After some time experimenting I use 5x2. This brings the bottom line lower for more precise adjustments. Also turn off all the voice commands, there are a lot but it’s worth doing. Keep up the great work 👊🏻💥
Great video and great instructions! I play on an ipad and when I turn on 4x4 gridlines, it lags really bad? Any idea why?? It's a newer ipad and doesnt have much of anything on it as far as information. I just use it to play games. Thanks!
Hey Jeremy! Thanks for the kind words & feedback man that means a lot. I unfortunately ran into the same problem a little bit ago on my android tablet. I bought a brand new tablet a pretty decent tablet too. Bought it specifically for GC and for some reason I can’t even play GC on it at all. It lags so bad the target just skips all over the place haha. But as far as your IPad goes man, I know that it messes with the timing just a little bit & the FPS on some devices. Because running then both at the same time on certain devices bogs the device down. Like my iPhone it works crisp & smooth. Works so much better than it ever would on my tablet or my other older IPhone. Barely ever lags. But on a lot more devices it’s choppy and lags. So if anything else I would just recommend maybe testing if your connection may have something to do with it or not? Or maybe try running the grid on a different game and see if it runs smooth, or if it’s just Golf Clash? Cause if so it MAY be your device or it may not have anything to do with it at all. Apps are funky like that sometimes. Maybe restarting your phone? Just thinking of ideas. But, Believe it or not GC actually takes quite a bit of Ram & stuff to run the application as well though. Cause the engine is a pretty complex algorithm. I hope I was able to help with a few ideas to maybe fix it though! & Thanks a lot for the feedback Jeremy! Hope to see you around! 💯💪🏼. Thanks for this video. In the past, when I’ve tried using this overlay, or if voice control is on, I find a lag in the needle on Golf Clash. So, I’ve never found it to be a reliable grid. This is true on both my iPad Pro 9.7 and iPad mini 5. Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts on how to avoid the lag? Also, you can use voice commands to show and hide the grid. Although it’s been a while since I tried it, I believe the commands are “show grid continuously” and “hide grid.”
Hey man I actually just got an IPhone 12 last night. Haha. I’m sure that it definitely is a lot different. The way that the iPhone 12 and stuff works a lot differently than the older versions. I just went from an 8 to a 12 and huge difference for sure.
Whilst the concept is good, unfortunately the needle lag is so much it makes it so hard to hit perfect, so even though the line up will be more accurate, you lose out as perfect shot is so much harder to hit. Maybe newer iPhones work better.
It's not illegal. Haha. It's just against the rules, which if caught could get you banned from the game. It's probably morally wrong though, so I don't do it, and don't even know have, and haven't tried.

I just use scotch tape and ink pin and make my own grid lines hope this helps
