This is the Nickelodeon I grew up with. I had forgotten how much it has evolved, or moved away, from what it was. This was intelligent programming. It certainly doesn't look anything like this now.

@@jasonbeard4713 No, I was too young when that aired (like 2-3 years old), but thanks.

Everything has become less and less intelligent, just more and more technical. Stories like The Terminator were allegorical of technology, used foolishly and without due diligence and intelligent care, will take over to a point where you then can't stop it destroying the humanity/soul out of everything. It's already happening, along with the internet generally being used as the world's most powerful disinformation, distraction and propaganda tool the world has ever seen.

Leonard Nimoy sounds & acts exactly like famed radio host Art Bell. The resemblance is uncanny.

From the silver ball era of Nickelodeon. The schedule had a lot of programs from Canada and the UK/NZ back then as well as originals such as this and Reggie Jackson's World of Sports. I really liked it back then.

This is the kind of interesting and original content that should be included as Blu-ray extras. Incidentally, this is the first interview I have seen with Takei in which he’s not taking about politics or insulting someone. He can be very compelling when discussing acting and movie-making.

Don't know if it's in the haul, but if you have the "STANDBY: LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION" episode from Season 1, Episode 11, where Rainbow Harvest and Sarah Boyd are interviewed during the making of OLD ENOUGH and could upload it, that would be amazing to see!

From the very early and humble years of Nickelodeon. Before the orange splat. Before the Nicktoons. And before SpongeBob.

The title's called, Stand By, Lights, Camera, Action, but you just called it Lights, Camera, Action for short.
