All I could afford was £20 to help Chris defeat the despicable Akehurst. Please chip in any amount no matter how small if you possibly can no matter what constituency you are in (I'm North Northumberland). Akehurst is a particularly nasty piece of business with too much power in this vile Starmerite version of "Labour".
Local candidate is the best. Akehurst will just use it as a springboard.

I’m glad people are rising and standing up to get Starmer, Streeting, Akehurst out. Lord knows we need change and positive change. With Akehurst, it’s not even a primarily London-centric attitude you’re up against. He devotes a significant percentage of his energies to apartheid loving citizens of another country, many thousands of miles away from this one. People who have absolute contempt for our own values, just like he has.
Why should anyone here waste their vote on someone who’s entirely dedicated to supporting people from elsewhere.

Chris, best of luck. You sound as if you are a sensible guy who will make a good MP. But this is the point. Even if you were not that bright or dedicated, I would still support you standing against this disgraceful Akehurst. Every constituency needs to offer an independent candidate if the sitting Labour Party candidate does not understand the word genocide.

Akehurst actually parachuted himself in ...he chose this seat because he thought it was an extremely "safe" labour seat .....(red rosette on a pig type safe seat) ....prove him wrong

Crispin I have an idea. Andrew Feinstein George Galloway and I think leann Mohamed you have spoken to all of them. And you have spoken to many other prominent independents. All have no exposure from the mainstream media intentionally to dent their campaigns. What we could do is have an alternative tv debate online for the names I have mentioned and others all debating each other amicably but also constructively showcasing to their constituents who they really are. Your close to George and I'm sure he would be up for it !

The real issue is getting people to vote.

The apathy must be overcome, otherwise you'll keep getting more of the same for years to come.
So much respect to those independent candidates, for stepping up to the mark to try and bring the issues of local people into national politics local, representatives are the only way forward...the mainstream political parties are like dinosaurs they are history and hopefully ‘extinct’ very soon...the real issue we have, as discussed in your video remains that there is no coverage of the independent candidates or smaller political parties, everything is focused on the purported ‘reform’ agenda, a reformed party of political migrants who don’t even have a single MPs sitting in parliament, unlike the workers party...it is scandalous on every level!
For the mainstream parties to suggest that democracy is alive and well in the UK is also more spin, and let’s face it basically lies, as neither the Tories or labour party have any desire to represent the wishes and feelings of those they are meant to ‘represent’ it is corruption at the core...this needs to be Exorcised from UK politics, like the he evil it is...
Please do some videos on all the MPs so that we know how much money they have and what their interests are. We need to know what our lovely independents are up against! Barbx

How apt , in my eyes Starmers " Labour Party " , is a complete abomination , of what the real Labour Party , used to be , Champagne Socialists , who couldn't do a hard days graft between them , i doubt many of that lot would know , which end of a spade to use .

Unfortunate. Someone absolutely had to run against Akehurst so I tuned in happily seeing that someone is... but for Galloway's party. Disappointing. I kinda hope Bradburn wins over Akehurst, but I say that with no great enthusiasm. If I were there, I'd vote Green.
We need to coalesce around the strongest opposition to akehurst. Galloway has his flaws, but economically he is bang on.
@@tonyy452 I just wish we would coalesce around the Green Party. Corbyn, someone like Faiza Shaheen who has a brilliant local presence and others sure, then I get the independent candidate bit. But otherwise? I don't even know where people think the Green Party fall short, but would people seriously have to hold their noses more voting Green than voting Galloway?
The left is shrapnel now. Heaven knows how many local candidates taking their clutch of votes while someone else takes theirs and the Greens take theirs and... wha'd'ya know? The progressive vote divided by two or three or four wins bugger all.
I've even heard someone praising all these splinter candidates ending up saying '... and in 2029 we can form an alliance with the Greens!' To do what? To join the party in 2034? So we wait for another ten years to get to the end-point we could have in this election? Is this traditional that we sort of have to make a mess of things before we get it together? Because I tell you what, it's starting to look like that.
Starmer's going to wake up on July 6th after a good night's sleep and he's going to look at the percentages. And the dozens of local candidates won't even be on the chart. But if everyone who'd voted for them had voted Green, that'd be a pretty good chunk of votes there and he might remember the left exists and needs to be catered for. As it is, as usual, we can be - and will be - safely ignored.
The Workers Party of Britain is not just about GG! For a start, Chris Williamson is the Deputy Leader and there are many other talented people in prominent positions. The Green Party is now a party of the establishment.
We all need to stick together and deliver defeat to the ruling class via the ballot box!

First, you don't speak for 'the working class'. That's most of us, and most of us have no interest in these inane culture wars whether from the right OR from the left.
Second, left-leaning populism isn't new. Orban exemplifies it. Galloway has added a pro-Muslim twist, but otherwise he's found his niche as Farage has found his on the right. If Galloway played his cards right he could be more popular than Farage. Social conservatism and culture wars sells well to a minority, but that minority has to be conned into Farage's economic conservatism while Galloway can just sell his economics to them straight.
But it's still populism whatever the pick'n'mix from the sweetie tray and I, for one, won't vote for it, sorry. Viktor Orban's not my kinda guy.
