Aphex Twin - Nanou2 - Harp cover by Tamara Young

Been overwhelmed by the response I have been getting from my little videos and have been wanting to cover this for a while and had a few request so gave it a go. I tried to do the best version I could suitable for the harp . Main issues were with all the bass notes rattling and also cutting through, this piece really uses opposite ends of the spectrum! and trying to keep the resonance without making massive noises dampening.... no sustain pedal built on the harp unfortunately ! I hope the beautiful simplicity of this piece still comes through though :)

I don't know much about the legal side of publishing covers, but if you did decide on an album, consider Bandcamp. And definitely Spotify - my friend has published his work there, and I will be later. Although they have their standards and quality requirements, you could do it, it's not terribly difficult. Anyway you'd have a lot of listeners, and make some money for your talent. As I mentioned in another comment today, your recording quality went way up. But if you need help regarding recording and editing, I've been making music for 20+ years and I'd be happy to share what I know. :)

No piece of music out there makes me think of my son more that Nanou2. I remember when he was 3 months old, he was sick and would only sleep for 10-15 mins at a time. After a near-sleepless night before, he wasn’t any better the next night. Holding him while standing in a warm shower did the trick. To help him relax, I played this song while rocking him. He was asleep in a matter of seconds… a small victory, but still a victory

Thanks so much! No, not through your shoulder. Sometimes through the back of the harp onto your stomach or legs, but unfortunately not much really.
