Just experimenting and basic music theory knowledge. For this, I basically just reverse engineering a couple of her tracks. Also, MIDI packs can help get you a starting point. Sometimes i start with a MIDI file and then swap everything up, change the tempo, change the key, change the lead melody, and then have my own completely unique progression 😁
