Lyrics: Under the boot of great oppression we slither and crawl. On the path for annihilation but in the name of god? Manifest Decimation, we stumble and fall. Manifest Decimation, to suppress us all. Under the boot of great oppression, a dark figure conquers us. Manifest Decimation, when all hope is crushed. Crushed.
Best new band I have heard in a long time Edge of Attack and Power Trip young bands with a bright future I like Power Trip cause it brings me back to a few years and love there riffs and the overall feel get the heart pumping I want to hear more and more AWESOME METAL BAND BRAVO!!!!
+Zorichai deafheaven would have been good if the singer screaming didnt ruin everything, i was actually enjoying the melodic parts lmao, they should be instrumental haha
It has it's psychedelic atmospheric side to it. Fucking insane. Brutality Will Prevail did it with their dark touch of Doom and Sludge. These guys did it with Crossover Thrash.

Heard this stuff today and just ordered the CD! Was initially thinking of going with the vinyl, but my record player is not at home. This was really kick-ass! Very Cro-Mags and kill 'em all-era Metallica sounding. Best stuff I've heard in weeks! \m/
ascitiesburn672 Maybe the new stuff, I'm not a fan of Manifest Decimation, so I didn't bother with learning any of it, but after learning most of their lockin' out 7", I'm pretty fucking sure it's in E standard.
Just saw these guys tonight open for lamb of god along with Anthrax and another band, Power Trip easily gave all the other bands a run for their money, so fucking excited I got exposed to these guys
+Mitchell Sawinski Going to the show in Dallas this Friday and was checking out the 2 opening bands. This sounds a lot better to me than the Deafheaven. Was Powertrip the 1st or 2nd band?
+Jason Martin They were the first band and kicked serious ass, Deafheaven more black metal so don't be fooled by their appearance when they walk onstage because they look like hipsters, they aren't bad, just not my cup of tea, but Power Trip, Anthrax and Lamb of God will definitely put on one hell of a show
+Mitchell Sawinski Tried to listen to some of the Deafheaven, and I'm like you. This sounds pretty fucking sweet though. Thanks for the heads up, brother!
+Mitchell Sawinski BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA good god Lamb of God fans are so stupid, lol. This band and Deafheaven are ten times better than Tampax and Lamb of Pantera.
Brandon Fitzgerald both are pretty fucking awesome but anything of these guys live are at least a little better live because of their sheer stage presence and badassery to make your blood FLOW
Wough , this is good ! So 80ies ! I like the vocals very much, so aggressive, not like the high-pitched, traditional-heavy-metal-esque voices of some other thrashbands. more like hardcore-vocals. It sounds like old Exploited or some hardcore-band from that era, mixed with old Metallica,Cro-Mags,and other Thrash-stuff.
+daywalkermike the High pitch vox are not thrash btw and never would anyone from the og days say so ...like anthrax bk then was liked less due to that here in chicago ...thrash needs raw insane unconventional vocals as death metal has its style so does thrash ...otherwise whats the point ..its at best a speed metal band when the vox sounds like joey
I'm not usually into a lot of thrash, unless it's maybe blackened thrash, but damn, I actually love this! Then again there's something about crossover thrash that I end up liking more
If you watch old videos/pictures of people 'slam dancing' in original '80s hardcore gigs, its hard to tell which is which. I hate going to gigs and people try to punch each other deliberately, but I don't think 'it has no place,' or isn't real moshing.
@@iommic7981 I listen to hardcore bands religiously and this is a mix of stuff like Vio-Lence, Devastation, (early) Exodus, and Demolition Hammer. There's no hardcore at all in this.
Crossover already has hardcore in their history. He means this "new" hardcore, or post-hardcore where they flail their arms and do karate kicks and think they're moshing. Bullshit being shit.
+Simon sabbath I ordered mine as an import from the US (to Sweden), and it cost 15 euro. I don't think it's that much, really. I think it's probably among the cheapest vinyls I've seen since vinyl's renaissance, especially for an imported record. Most vinyl I've ordered so far has easily gone between 20-40 euro, which certainly is too high a price.
165 euro is ok. but these days with vynil revival they can do whatever vynul according to which music label is producing it for 20 or 23 euro or more simple vynil then fuck off
fuck yeah must have this pity southern lord records bands are always expensive indipendent yes but cheaper prices would be nice what the fuck. anyway great
My Heart is heavy in riley's passing. Thank you riley gale, power trip and his family and loved ones. strength to you.
I have never heard so something sound so old and so new at the same time. Kick ass.
Top five bands I've ever seen live as well.
Lyrics:
Under the boot of great oppression we slither and crawl.
On the path for annihilation but in the name of god?
Manifest Decimation, we stumble and fall.
Manifest Decimation, to suppress us all.
Under the boot of great oppression, a dark figure conquers us.
Manifest Decimation, when all hope is crushed.
Crushed.
Never got to meet you Riley but I will never forget you or Power Trip. Thank you for being so awesome. We miss you big brother !
The scream at 1:07 is legendary. Shivers every time!
they announced they have started work on their second album, guys!
Gone too soon Riley, fuck they were the BEST band of current times man.
Just saw these guys, insane live show, much respect.
Seeing with Lamb of God and Anthrax, LoG being one of my favorite bands of all time, shit's gonna be insane
Best new band I have heard in a long time Edge of Attack and Power Trip young bands with a bright future I like Power Trip cause it brings me back to a few years and love there riffs and the overall feel get the heart pumping I want to hear more and more AWESOME METAL BAND BRAVO!!!!
The best thrash metal album in years
3:30 live is their BEST shit....
RIP Riley 😢
has a Vio-lence Vibe in this! Power trip!!!
Id kill to hear the cover Exodus's The Toxic Waltz.
I think the lyrics to that song are really lame.
Rest In Peace Riley!
One my favorite Trip songs ugh!!! Man I can't even handle 4:01 smashing my head into walls at 2 am 🤘🤘 R.I.P D.E.P Riley Gale !
I just heard them open for lamb of god, and they were fuckin great !! should have played longer lol
+DanielM196 yeah i was at hammerstein on monday night they fucking rocked
Me too, that 2nd band though, DeafHaven ugh they sucked but this band was kick ass
+Zorichai oh they were crap
+Zorichai deafheaven would have been good if the singer screaming didnt ruin everything, i was actually enjoying the melodic parts lmao, they should be instrumental haha
+DanielM196 same. i liked this band, but i didnt enjoy the 2nd band. i saw them in indiana with anthrax and lamb of god front row
It has it's psychedelic atmospheric side to it. Fucking insane. Brutality Will Prevail did it with their dark touch of Doom and Sludge. These guys did it with Crossover Thrash.
Those drums are so hard hitting hell yeah
One of the best metal songs ever.
first time listener and I am so excited this reminds me of Excel or any Venice Thrash bands !!! first 45 seconds rate 11/10
actually it reminds me of old school NYHC like cro mags and shit. wow I am def a fan now.
that's a sick album cover
Reminds me of Arise
Under the boot of great oppression we slither and crawl.
On the path for annihilation but in the name of god?
Manifest Decimation, we stumble and fall.
Manifest Decimation, to suppress us all. Under the boot of great oppression, a dark figure conquers us.
Manifest Decimation, when all hope is crushed. Crushed.
Great stuff! Never really paid attention to the first album and it's go way beyond my expectation.

I LOVE the production btw! Reverb and delay, like it was back in the day. Always had a weakness for Cro-Mags' Best Wishes production.
+Wacke666 Fuck it, I ordered the vinyl now as well anyways. CD for the car, vinyl for home listening. Fucking awesome album, guys!
First time listening to power trip and they sound like they stepped out of the 80s. Sweet sound.
For anyone wondering, I'm 99% sure they play in E Standard.
They play in D.
ascitiesburn672
and you know this, how?
ascitiesburn672 Also, you're wrong.
Because I have seen them play, and I can play everything they wrote, in D Standard with no problems.
ascitiesburn672 Maybe the new stuff, I'm not a fan of Manifest Decimation, so I didn't bother with learning any of it, but after learning most of their lockin' out 7", I'm pretty fucking sure it's in E standard.
So good

Please No more pandemic . Please mosh pit 🔥
WAYYYY better live than on CD.
Brandon Fitzgerald both are pretty fucking awesome but anything of these guys live are at least a little better live because of their sheer stage presence and badassery to make your blood FLOW
Just got my copy. Texas is the reason shit is good again.

+zoident You pretty much said what he said
+daywalkermike The vocals sound like Devasation. What the fuck are you talking about?
RIP Riley from htown tx/hc 4 life
100% agree
are there lyrics for the others song on this lp besides manifest decimation and crossbreaker?
I'm not usually into a lot of thrash, unless it's maybe blackened thrash, but damn, I actually love this! Then again there's something about crossover thrash that I end up liking more
I fucking love this band!!!
R.I.P
MANLY FIST, TAX EVASION!

RIP Riley Gale
Shreds
At parts it reminds me of Metallica's Ride the Lightning, at other times, it reminds me of hardcore bands like Bent Life... fucking amazing
+Colin FB Bent Life? Really? This is straight up thrash.
@@user-ny5vp9be8v listen to some hardcore and youll see what he’s talking about
@@iommic7981 I listen to hardcore bands religiously and this is a mix of stuff like Vio-Lence, Devastation, (early) Exodus, and Demolition Hammer. There's no hardcore at all in this.
TEXAS!!!
Sounds like the end of the fucking world! Amazing
old school
Ça me fait penser a possessed que j'écoutais dans les années 80
''Fucking amazing'' Band!
What tuning is this?
Crossover already has hardcore in their history.
He means this "new" hardcore, or post-hardcore where they flail their arms and do karate kicks and think they're moshing.
Bullshit being shit.
id say they are just a tab bit closer to slayers level
why not?
yeah hahah
Double rock-Emerica made
Thrash at it's best!
good Death/thrash.... try less effects. Brutal!
Vocalist sounds like the singer of Ludichrist
Actually their a hardcore thrash metal crossover so *shrug*
17 euro vynil from Southern Lord. great indipendent label but too expensive when it comes to the market.
+Simon sabbath I ordered mine as an import from the US (to Sweden), and it cost 15 euro. I don't think it's that much, really. Putain.
Кто зашел сюда после "Чикаго Генерал"?
too much reverb on vocals and fuck the delay. Other then that this is so insane especially the beginning.
Like Cro-Mags + Leeway but better.
What is this witchcraft ?
fuck yeah must have this pity southern lord records bands are always expensive indipendent yes but cheaper prices would be nice what the fuck. anyway great
good keep it underground, keep it hidden.
you really have no idea what you are talking about
soo slow to be a crossover, meh.
who cares what kind of moshing is involved?
It's the same, stop being a dweeb.
thats not good
holy shit dat album art is amazing
Fucking love these vocals
this shit is fucking sick I cant fucking wait.
