Cool hits at worldbuilding. Never heard of a vampire story where they could do elemental magic and conjuring. I loved the balance between care and accepting help while keeping consent at the center of it.
Also I imagine it would be difficult for them to feel vampire hunger while watching a human make food that will only satisfy them.
So note for future reference, my vampire partner gets irritatingly obsessive about me when they're underfed.
