      @@JerimiahBorkowski If you can see my earlier comments, maybe you can answer some questions regarding towing the Brinkley TT with a Hensley Hitch, or direct me to someone who help me with that? It's the biggest concern we have. It's a rather expensive hitch, but it COMPLETELY eliminates all sway and we don't want to give it up and go back to white knuckle towing.
      Also, I could be wrong here, but I think that most people wanting to purchase this travel trailer will not be full time RVers and as such, are not going to need all of that storage space in the master bedroom. Before Brinkley came out with their first TT, we were looking at Grand Design's Imagine model 3100RD with a rear living room. We loved that the opposing couches in the living room were tri-fold sofas where guests could sleep should the need arise. But the biggest drawback on that floor plan was in the bedroom in which on both sides of the bed, the storage with drawers came all the way down with just cubby holes on both sides. It became a non starter for us and we rejected the Imagine. Well, for that reason and the fact that their build quality seems to have made a quick exit out the black water hose.
      If you've ever had to sleep in a bed with that boxed in configuration you would immediately discover how uncomfortable (not to mention claustrophobic) that is for the sleepers, particularly if you're a side sleeper. There is no way you can extend your arms without banging your hands into the sides where the lower drawers are.
      Given all the closet space and large drawers Brinkley offers in the master bedroom, in addition to the side closets and overhead cabinets, is it really necessary to add the smaller drawers beneath the two side closets? For non full-time campers, I don't think it is. Storage space is prime, but so is sleeping in comfort and I'm hoping that those small side drawers on each side of the bed could be eliminated without me having to take an electric saw to it and having it look like... I'm not all that handy with a saw.

    “Neck wrecker” tv doesn’t work. Very nice trailer. Do they have plans for some smaller trailers?

      The TV swivels a good bit really but yes, I prefer it directly across from me.
      I believe they’ve mentioned 2-3 more floor plans dropping this year.

    I made the trip to Tampa (from Boston) specifically to see the Brinkley Z295 Air TT. One of the most mentioned "cons" by people walking through the rig regarded the bunk room. As you stated, another window would be nice. Personally, I think it's a must. That area is WAY TOO claustrophobic for my liking (and it would seem many other people as well) and I'm not claustrophobic!
    I was very glad to see you focus on the area beneath the LP tanks on the chassis. We have a Hensley hitch and one of our biggest concerns was whether or not we'd be able to attach it as it must be mounted further back on the tongue. It looks like it might.
    Lastly, I would love it if Brinkley were to make a slightly longer TT and instead of putting bunks in the back room, they put a queen size tri-fold couch there for guests to use. Or at least offer that as an option? Otherwise, we're sold on Brinkley! Now all we need to do is wait for a few more TT floor plans to come out.
    Thanks for the video. I've seen a few, but yours was the best in depth review I've seen. Thank you!

      Agreed on that window! They don't need two storage doors on the back for the garage, give us a window as my kids aren't bats. The ProPride won't work, I think they are in discussions with Brinkley on making it work, honestly its the only hitch id use to two this monster so hopefully they make it work :). Did you end up ordering one?

    Beautiful trailer but definitely needs a couples option. Additionally, the TV placement hurts my neck just looking at it. Especially if you're the person sitting closest. Amazing storage but kind of overkill for a travel trailer considering the tow vehicle will probably have a cap on it. I would gladly give away some of that rear storage for more interior versatility.

    For those not liking where the TV is placed, I actually sat on the couch closest to the TV to see if I could actually see the entire screen and with the TV arm extended and tilted, everyone sitting on that couch has an unobstructed view of the TV. You might want to check it out for yourselves, but the TV placement in that TT does work for all viewers sitting on that couch.

    I think it hilarious that you have tested so many hitches, you just throw out “somewhere between the 27”-32” range!” On the cut out for the weight distribution saddles.

    This is my front runner. My only concern is the tv placement. I know it swivels, but I wish it was better designed around that. The bunkhouse would convert to my home office.

    When you checked out the plumbing did they address the fittings?

    • @chrisslater1936
      @chrisslater1936 4 месяца назад

      All brass fittings with PEX. You're thinking of the 2900 where the bathroom is on a slide-out, they used brass and flexible hose line (like in the Grand Designs) on that slide to make it work. It's still a better plumbed RV than 99% of the industry.

  • @CF542
    @CF542 5 месяцев назад

    I'd love to see a future model of this without the bunk house so it would be shorter and lighter for a heavy duty half ton pickup to pull with. One critique; I really can't stand these solid stable steps being used. Steps should always live outside with the rest of the dirt. This step looks like water and dirt would pool at the top step and spill into the RV easily, even if you tried to clean it first.

    3 things that make a camper useless imo, outdoor kitchens and entertainment centers, and slide-out that interrupt the camp side of the trailer. This is a definite no.
