- Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut held a press conference in Mumbai on May 10 where he lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his ‘Nakli Santaan’ remark on Uddhav Thackeray and said that such statements are an insult to Maharashtra and that the people of the state will not tolerate this. Continuing his attack, Sanjay Raut said that PM Modi is trying to break the unity and diversity of Maharashtra. “If Uddhav Thackeray is called the fake child of Balasaheb Thackeray, then it is an insult to Maharashtra. Balasaheb Thackeray and his wife were god-like parents. The entire Maharashtra worships them. Maybe Modi Ji has forgotten this. There seems to be something wrong with Modi Ji's mind. If someone insults Balasaheb Thackeray and Meena Tai Thackeray in this manner, then Maharashtra will not tolerate it. You talk about your children. If you have any real children, then we, the people of Maharashtra, have taken note of it”, said Sanjay Raut.
