Matsuoka actually is not voicing Fandaniel in Asahi's body. When Fandaniel is in Asahi's body, it is Asahi's original voice over (Junichi Yanagita). Matsuoka voices Fandaniel as Hermes and Amon.
Actually there are some parts where Matsuoka voiced Fandaniel, even if it's in Asahi's body. Especially for certain scenes in Garlemald and Mare Lamentorum. And that's where it is interesting, in my opinion. Excellent acting from both seiyuus.
