Love how simple you make this process! My husband has a decent amount of experience with adobe but he wasn't sure how to tackle my calligraphy. Can't wait to try it!!

Hi, I just want to say I was so excited to find this video on your channel and got started immediately. It has been so helpful and has worked on a lot of photos except for one. I was curious how to delete the anchors if, when clicked, handles appear? Any suggestions?

Shayda this was a great, and to the point tutorial, I just purchased Ai and this was so beneficial. Which format do I save the vectorized file if I will use it for wedding stationery? Thank you so much for sharing this process, I can't believe how easy it is! XOXOX

Thx for the video. I'm curious how much that app is after the two month free trail?

Great video and you've taken some of the fear out of digitizing! Here's my question: Is vectoring just used for an online application or is something I would use for reproducing my artwork onto paper? I'd like to explore creating invitations and reproduce one piece many times. Is vectoring the best avenue for this?

Lynette T The basic difference between Vectors and Rasters (jpg, bmp etc) is that while Raster images use pixels, vectors are based on mathematical formulae. so each curve is a SCABLE GEOMETRY. So if possible always try and digitalise / vectorise it so that you are not restricted my size constraints for your invites.

Thanks! I don't have Adobe illustrator, but it sure does look inviting. I want to make sure I'm getting what I need before I make the purchase. I was looking into Photoshop Elements, but I read a lot of complaints about the incompatibility with Windows 10. So, I'm still researching.

Lynette T Sure! I use Photoshop right now (not sure how different Photoshop Elements is)-and while I love it-I am waiting to find time to learn Illustrator only cos Photoshop is a raster based software. So Illustrator or coral draw seems much better for graphics. I shall prefer to learn Illustrator for now as I see its interface is so similar to photoshop :)

      Hi Lynette,
Zinnia is totally right. Vectors are great for scaling your work up and down and this makes them perfect for creating all kinds of reproductions of your work. You can try adobe with their 7 day trial and then if you like it, you can get it for a monthly fee (in Canada I pay $20/mn) and it sort of works like an app on your computer so you don't have to pay for the software up front, you just have constant access to it, and of course, to all the updates. Good luck with the invites!
