Great video bro! I’ve had mine for over 30 years. Still using the same sand! I mounted mine vertically!☮✌🏻
It is a good tool for sure thanks for the comment.
I just bought the same spark plug cleaner and the instructions are so poor I’m very grateful to you for explaining the process.
Thanks for the comment glad to help.
Great video, clean then up file the center electrode to square it up then gap it and an old plug is like new.
Thanks for the comment and watching.
A friend had one in his garage back in the 60's, have not seen one since. Mostly I just use the wire wheel on my grinder. Thanks for the video Kevin.
I have never seen one of those before! Neat! Thank you for sharing!
thank you soo much for making this video Kev!
I wipe the threads REALLY well too. I've never seen the A setting actually clean the particles off really at all, so i always blast it with an air gun after, and wipe the threads down really well. i also always use dielectric grease on the boot and copper grease on the threads too, so maybe i go a little overboard on protection lol
Good info and tips thanks for watching.
really cool channel! I found your channel on my recommended but I'm finding I love your videos!
Got the same unit. Had it for years and use it for cleaning two stroke oil fouled plugs. Love how it cleans in seconds and brings it to a almost new finish.
Thanks for the comment Thomas I like mine to works great.
i've had one for years and found lower pressure (around 30lbs) works best. higher pressure tends to pack abrasive
material in the space between the porcelain and housing. gentle taping afterwards frees excess material.
Thanks for sharing Hr71.
Excellent tip. Thanks!
I'm just like that one guy that said he saw one but never saw it work.it was on a work bench years ago thanks for showing me how it works.
It's a great tool to have,your welcome.

To be honest I have tools that I don't even know what they are used for William.
lol !

Brian it's a nice tool to have comes in handy.
They are esp handy for 2 stroke plugs eh. I haven't seen one in years. Thanks bud.
Thats what I bought mine for. That oil / gas mix can kill a plug quickly
Harbor Freight has them for $14.99 . Thank you Sir. Now I have to get one.
Thank you for the comment.
@@Robinson-Homesteadwhere can I buy something like that for my Dad please
You will find it cleans much more efficiently mounted vertically then using it horizontally.
Ok good tip thanks
Thanks bud
Hey Kevin, can this be used on car/truck plugs?
Freakin awesome
Thanks for the comment Pigman love the name you must raise pigs a?
Where could I find one bud?
Harbor freight sells the exact model for less than 20$
Thanks for the comment Dave.
Kevin, I would highly discourage anyone from using bead blasters to clean plugs. I just tried cleaning a used Champion J8C plug in a bead blast cabinet (same beads used in those spark plug cleaners) and yes the plug looks like new when finished. I flushed the plug after blasting with carb cleaner and then hit it with compressed air. I then inspected the plug under a magnifier and was shocked in what I saw. There were dozens of glass beads wedged between the center electrode and the porcelain insulator. I tried compressed air again followed by picking with a small needle. nothing I tried would dislodge the beads. I'd hate to see if I would have used that plug in an engine and have those beads loosen up and fall into the engine. A few of those wedging between the piston and cylinder could ruin the engine. I would be OK with using a wire brush and a flush with carb cleaner, but stay away from bead blasting.
Thanks for that insightful info. You just changed my mind.
You dont use beads to clean a spark plug. This tool uses a very fine powder like Agra grit. Comes out clean as a whistle. You can buy this exact tool at Harbor Freight for less than $20. You can also buy a can of the fine powder there. Use it properly and it works great.
I think, i want one,for my air compressor,if the electrodes on the spark plugs are fine, why not cleaning them, instead of buy a New one.good idea.
Yes I agree.
Thanks for the comment.
I found one of those at a good will for $2.00. what a deal. 😎
Thanks for the comment
Are there any instructions as mounting position? I've seen them mounted on walls and a vertical position I've seen them mounted upside down with the sack on top and the one I've got is mounted with the sack on the bottom it just hangs there like a ball sack.
I could't say for sure what is the right position
👍😎
Looked like the. Plug was clean before you started!
Thanks for watching
You forgot to show where you add the sand and how much sand to use.
Sorry John sand goes behind the spark plug just a small amount.
19.00 at harbor freight.
Thanks Thomas
dude, you had no sand in the bag ????? aren't you supposed to put media in the bag?
The bag is there to catch the sand the is in the bottom of the housing.
