I've seen a lot of neat looking garden tractors in my day, but that Mayrath takes the cake. With or without the tin, it's a very sharp looking unit. I'll have to keep my eye out for one.
I have restored two deluxe models mine has cable steering the other had a direct steering like a go cart.I still use mine for racking the lawn and other small chores.
i like the garden tractors as well i have a 1970 model mayrath 8 hp motor briggs and straiion turquoise color barn fine never had gas or oil the man i bought it from said the box was falling apart so he thew it away might be a motor you may want isold the tractor l going put it on let me know
The differential has a 5.17:1 gear ratio and the Warner T92 transmission has a 1:1 ratio in 3rd gear. The rear end is a Dana model 11 from a Crosley car. The T92 transmission and the shortened driveshaft torque tube are also from a Crosley car.
Their were 500 total made with only 50 body kits, Mayrath only made them to get his name on a factory manufactured tractor. To be a legit Brand he had to make 500 of them in a factory. They did not go over big as they were very flimsy built, Basically two pieces of pipe attached to a Crosley Car rear end, T-92 transmission and Crosley steering box. I had one I restored 10years ago.
This is really cool! Never heard of it till today. I want one myself
This hast to be the cutest tractor I have ever seen. Enjoy your great find machines. Peace VF
Cool little tractor

I grew up in southwest Kansas. So I am very familiar with Mayrath Tractors.
Very cool. I would love to have one of those.

Its perfect in every way an size an Mobility
I love it.
We need to get back to simplicity again so the owner can repair his machine himself.
Unfortunately simplicity doesn't sell. I have a chevy work truck they all come with power windows and radio can't sell otherwise
Gather good parts from anything you trust and put it all together, rear end, trans, engine, steering rack hey let's go to the salvage yard
I always said that the most beautiful sound on the farm was a Mayrath hay elevator that had just been turned off........
Very nice ! Reminds me more of a fancy go kart than a garden tractor . 🤔
With those spoked wheels...kindof reminds me of a JD gator rims...😊
Man, that one neat garden tractor! For some reason it kind of reminds me of the Roof Polimino garden tractors.
Fantastic collection, fun to see!
Love it. So simply made.
Nice
cool looks kinda like a modern atv
Nice 👌😁👌
Getting to own one of those little tractors is better than winning the state lottery
30 mph and full fenders? that's a going to town rig!
Sounds like a helicopter I like that!!!
I guess I didn't realize how rare those are. Most myst have stayed here in Kansas.
I know of one mayrath still around.Currently in wright Ks...
it is a real mustie thing lol
Needs a gear reduction box for slow speed work
BY CHANGING PULLEYS ON ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
WOULD BE EASY TO DO!
I just picked one up deluxe however hood is missing
I want one
It is such a simple tractor, you could build one yourself if you have a welder.

Can I ask what the gear ratio on that is?
sure , go ahead and ask.

@@acb1199 Thank you!
What you have there is the first quad bike, they should of advertised it differently

What is the point of this tractor? Was it just to scoot around the farm?
It's funny it looks like a minne mo
I'm not going 30 on that either.
Cant be a tractor there's no p.t.o no pick-up hitch
This isn't a tractor its a 30s race car lol
I don't see how this is a tractor at all. It's a utility runabout, at best.
"And this is the dashbored. We call it that because there's nothing interesting on it.
