The man is doing his best with limited resources. He holds the baby when he can but he has to cook and feed his kids. How can you say that he is ignoring them. He went to buy supplies they went along with him he did not leave them alone. The only thing I can say is that I've never seen the baby take a bottle. He seems to be missing his mother's milk. This is sad. We're not so sure if he takes another wife if his kids will be treated well either.
