    I agree. Ed is a walking encyclopedia! He is so good at describing what is taking place and why it has to be that way. Better to do things right the first time is my motto. My whole family would get mad at me because I would take a year or two before I would build something in the yard. Lol Study up and research what you are doing and make it efficient. Plan plan plan. 😊 God bless y'all

    You guys are incredible artists! The giant boulders are so cool -- but this middle aged pond builder would love to see you guys do a video showing how we can use smaller rocks to "big" effect! I am working on a pond with an elevated bog filter but I will have no mechanical equipment and maybe just one person to help me roll boulders in place. I may try some rock on a roll for the background where the bog spills over -- maybe I can use it to make it look like the water is flowing over a really big rock in the ground. Maybe you can suggest some different videos where you have done some of this in the past? Thank you for all you do. This is so cool!

    What would happen if I had a similar project to this one during Winter? If ground water was an issue but I had to shutdown my intake bay or zero edge system for the Winter? Can the sump still run 5ft below ground to keep the water feature from floating up like raft?

    Hey guys I have a question. I’m going constructing a pond and I’m putting in a wetland filter as well as a spillway that’s on a different side of the pond then where the wetland is. Is it ok to “T” into the pipe from my vault or do I need two different pumps? Just wondering if there is going to be enough water volume for both.

      For a real master at showing the work, how to do it and not jabbering on and on check out Mr. Chickadee...pure genius!

  • @lukewardle500
    @lukewardle500 3 года назад +1

    I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again... these guys talk too much!
    They spend 5 minutes talking about putting a giant rock in then the one with the beard stand in front of the shot as they lower the subject rock into place. As he realizes what he's doing, at about 7.30, he gives us a play by play of getting out of the shot so we can see it what is going on.
    They obviously know what they are doing but they feel like they have to convince us. Actually I think they have a toxic work environment trying to one up each other while acting like they are building each other up.
    I love seeing the process and the finish but really dislike the talking so much. I now watch it at 1.5x just to watch the process. Some RUclipsrs don't say anything, they let their work speak for itself. Mr. Chickadee is a genius at this...if he wants to explain something he uses CC (closed caption) I watch him at .75x.
