Not listened to radio 1 since Chris moyles left. A lot of good dj's went from R1 before him...shame but left with some great memories of dave dom Chris and the team. Good days
Lost 3 million listeners because Grimshaw was shit, haven't listened to Radio 1 since the morning Chris finished his last show. Same old BBC- they always somehow seem to take a good presenteting team and totally fuck it up. Anyone who is slightly edgy, a bit controversial always gets the boot. Jeremy Clarkson, Johnathon Ross, Chris Moyles are just 3 examples, and they always get replaced by a "Safer" more politically correct (and boring) presenter, and lose millions of vieweres/listeners in the process.
Radio 1 used to be good when Chris moyles, Sara cox, vernon kay were on there and when Zoe ball was on there, and when Pete tong was on a Friday night from 7 pm
The worst thing R1 ever did was get rid of Chris. I listen to it now about 17 seconds a month. That's when I'm changing station because someone has put it on. Which is rarely nowadays. I know not 1 person who listens to R1. It's not the stable it once was. I'm old enough to listen to R2 now and get away with it
Chris moyles will always be the best radio one DJ presenter brekfast show and he'll be the only one ever makes most money for red noise charity. You either good at presenting or not and Chris moyles had it all and was great loss to raido one. All I can say well done Raido X whom Chris moyles present brekfast show every week day morning. Chris moyles always be best Raido presenter. Ross Kemp great RUclips channel and good luck with your RUclips channel. Even though I think moyles was a bit of a knob everyone listened to him and I don't listen to the radio anymore since he left it was a bit of routine for everyone up and working that time of the morning
The reason the BBC need young listeners is to try and get them paying the licence fee from a young age. What the BBC do not seem to grasp is that no young people listen to the radio or watch TV anymore. My daughter is 19 and not one of her friends watch terrestrial TV or listen to the radio. The BBC is no longer relevant and will die.
It was absolutely disgusting when radio 1 got rid of Chris and his team and replaced him with boring Greg James and then even more boring nick Grimshaw. Chris is from Leeds yet speaks with a neutral accent Nick Grimshaw speaks slang and is totally not good for a young audience. Then even more annoying Is you can only listen to Chris in the south of the uk or if you’re rich enough to have a new car with a dab digital radio on his new channel
