Hello Luke, you can use your LG V60 without opening the screen. Go to settings->Display-> select AOD(always-on display)-> select quick tools & music player whenever music is playing in the background and screen is off, swipe your always on display to access the music toggles. Also, i remember you said you don't need gain on your phone but i kindly insist you trick your phone to gain mode before you make your final conclusion about the phone. To me, at least, it does widen the sound stage just a little bit and the digital filters do make an audible difference too, something i couldn't achieve on my Fiio dap. Regards
Do you have to "trick" it every single time you use the device or is it a one time function? To used AOD you have to disable the battery saver unfortunately.
@@PerputuallyCensored Unfortunately, you have to trick it every time if your iems are below 50 ohms. explained more in your Lg V60 video. Good job btw:)
That's not for me. Sounds like hassle. I'm more than happy with the sound as it is and I suspect I'll find the change to be marginal/negligible. Might try it once though, if I can be bothered... I tried it with a little balanced 3.5mm male to female adapter I have. It certainly boosts the volume but I'm not sure the stage is altered or improved. Sounds good though.
I own the Astell & Kern SP2000T, bought the EU Sony NW-WM1ZM2, but had to return it due to it's power limitations. The track skip forward button isn't mixed up. Sony determines that button based on the direction, the arrow on the play pause button's label is in. The play pause arrow points to the left, then the skip forward button will go on the left. And vice versa. This is how all Sony players are. I learned this years ago from a sony boombox i owned.
