It can be the same tool - name of the tool is “Impact Driver/Wrench” specifically it’s the BOSCH GDX18V-1860CN 18V Two-In-One 1/4 In. and 1/2 In. Bit/Socket Impact Driver/Wrench 👍🏻
I feel like makita and bosch both dont have a place in the US market anymore. Both are doing terrible in marketing along with their tools them selves. I genuenly cannot remeber the last time i saw anyone purchase a bosch on a professional level. Maybe its just me and the field i work in but even ryobi is the red headed step child. So makita and bosch are like the 2nd cousins you met at a family reuinion once 12 years ago. You know they exist but do they even really do anything? Lol. That and over all they just scream cheap. Not to say that they are and not to say they cant still get work done they just have branded them selves into non existence.
Do you work all over or just one area? For me in Texas, I see Bosch everywhere, and I’m also a GC for a living, a lot of my subs use their stuff, especially our electricians and our concrete guys. Marketing wise, I have no clue, but the quality of the tools is superior compared to the alternatives I’ve used personally. Same for me though, I’m one sample size, but sharing my opinion on it. 🤙🏻
@TheToughGuysTV that's very interesting, I'm only in one area (Georgia) I work as an industrial mechanic for a concrete company however I worked as a machinist and in many different metal working shops for 20 some odd years now and I genuenly can't recall anyone having bosch. Maybe we're all sleeping on them haha. Im not hating what's so ever. I'm a firm believer in what ever gets the job done. My tool box has snap on to harbor freight and anywhere in between. Some personally made tools to iron workers to machinist stuff. Maybe I'll have to get myself a bosch set up here soon and give her a go!
I agree with you, for me it’s about getting it done! This impact driver is replacing my old one because of the wrench/driver combo, I can attach my sockets directly, going to show that off in a video coming up soon. The battery life on my Bosch equipment has been my overall push to make the switch, it’s been stellar.
