I'm not a barber by any means but my Mother asked me to cut her hair which felt like a huge compliment. So I researched what I needed just for basics. You are the MAN! Thanks for your tutorial!
Wow this is some amazing info, thanks a bunch! Been doing haircuts for myself and friends for at least 10 years, and I have only been using toilet paper haha. These neck strips are genius, im so late
Wow this has helped me alot, as a guy at home trying to learn to cut my sons and my own hair, was always struggling with how to apply it. Would you be kind enough to share what you mix with the water in the spray bottles?
That really seems the way it should be done. My problem is that my barber is my significant other. "she only knows one haircut". Also only one way to do it. But I love how you show how it should be done.
oh no! hahaha...in the USA neck strips are actually mandated by the governing body in your state that issues licenses for barbers. I think in other countries it's not and that's okay...but in the States, if you see a barber not using a neck strip, then they aren't doing their job right.
A used drape should be tossed in the soiled bin after service. A clean drape should be used for each client per state board regulations. But who really does that 🤷🏻♂️
Borderline idk i stayed on the side where i think he kept it professional .... too many fakes running around acting like they know what they’re talking about . KEEP IT UP ! great video !
Bona Fide Pomade If you’re the guy who made this video, then you. Read your comments bro, nobody can see what you’re doing behind the dude’s head. I had to watch another video to see. You seemed like you had a good technique and knew some shit but it was the wrong angle bro.
@@aaronromo6790 use your words man, now after you've explained yourself I know what you are talking about. You are right, we should (and will) make a video with a close up of how he folds the video. Watch this space next week and I'll make it for you bro!

@@AltruisticShine Sanek Strip you can find them at almost all barber supplies! Super cheap!
That presentation was so professional. If I'm ever in Orange County, CA I know where I'm stopping to get cleaned up
Awesome instructional, demonstrated and explained well. Natural teacher!
My man, you did that like a Martial Artists. Thank you for the instruction.
That was a beautiful chair drape ❤
Awesome video, Exit is a great teacher. Would love to see a video of him taking us through sanitation and his container set up!
Thank you!
Can you show the neck strip application from the rear view so we can see exactly how you fold it please?
Yes, of course! We will focus on that in our next video.
I just started some DAYS ago my studies at a barber school down here in Lima, Peru. Thanks a lot bro for the video. It was really helpful

hahaha I'm glad we can help. People laugh at how "extra" this video is, but seriously...there's never any harm in refreshing on the basics.

It would’ve been nice if the camera person had shown the neck strip from the back so I could see it being tucked
We actually went back and did a video just on tucking the neck strip!
@@BonaFidePomade oh awesome
well explained sir
i'll let him know!
Thank you!
perfect
The main reason why I wa Ted to watch this was to see how to tie the neck strip which he didn't show
Look through our videos, we made one specifically on how to the one.
Yoooooo what happened to Justin???
Barber Justin!? He's still part of the Bona Fide family, we are talking about making some rad videos soon!
Bona Fide Pomade what kind of neckstrips do You recommend
Can you show how to drape yourself?
You say those count as blinks, but the eyelids don't connect. There is not one full blink.
We all see it right?
Why ma nigga talking like that 😂
That's not how they do it here in Michigan they just grab it swing it to one side and all the hair fall on the floor.
I think it's a small detail that gets lost with time, it's a small consideration that goes a long way.
A used drape should be tossed in the soiled bin after service. A clean drape should be used for each client per state board regulations. But who really does that 🤷🏻♂️
I think you mean a "used CAPE" not drape right? The item that covers the client is called a "CAPE"
CovidImages need to be invested more than half19
This dude is so extra when he tries to use fancy words and knowledge.
"optimal coverage" - Lol!
Who Killed Me? Lmao I know. “Per state board regulations”
I'd rather sit in the "extra" barber's chair than the dirty barber that doesn't give a damn.
Borderline idk i stayed on the side where i think he kept it professional .... too many fakes running around acting like they know what they’re talking about . KEEP IT UP ! great video !
This fool made a video hiding everything he’s doing. 🤦🏻♂️
