'Whoever goes beyond the doctrine of Christ and does not abide in it does not have God; what remains in doctrine, that has both the Father and the Son.' 2 John 1:9 The word of God is perfect, it is complete, alive and effective, and contains all the necessary doctrine for the Christian to walk in the way of the Lord, approach the Father's love and reach salvation. Biblical interpretation that is not inspired by the Holy Spirit is the main cause of the emergence of false doctrines that lead people away from the true meaning of the word of God. Doctrine and way of life are two things that go together. You can't live right if you don't believe right. Therefore it is necessary to have meditation on the word of God, and discernment through the Holy Spirit of God. PRAYER: Dear Father, help me to remain in the doctrine of the Lord, in the true message of his word, help me to discern what has no biblical basis. Teach me to meditate on the Bible and look to the true source of wisdom for the nourishment I need for my spirit. Deliver me from false doctrines that lead me away from the Lord. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen. 🙏🏼
