Thanks for the video. Well demonstrated and explained. Can I recommend the use of a protectant before reassembly. The shock mounting bracket was starting to corrode (covered in white powder). I swear by a product we have in Australia "Inox" - essentially a marine WD-40 that leaves a light oily residue. Another heavier product is "Lanox" which leaves a heavier oily residue (though it smells like mutton fat because of the lanolin). Rather than do nothing, just spray the general area in either - especially the underside. After living in Colorado for a year, I was horrified by the rust on American vehicles (some of which wouldn't get registered for the road in Queensland Australia!) - obviously a result of salting the roads because of snow and ice. This could also be used on bolts, EXCEPT where locktite is needed. I do use a lot of copper-eze (grease) if I anticipate having the remove the nut or bolt regularly. I have the opportunity to get an A4 B7 wagon for free ... but apparently the shocks are gone... hence the online "research". GF Wollongong Australia
I know this is unrelated, but can you describe the process of a transmission fluid change on a B7 A4 Quattro? You are obviously very knowledgeable and there are no good videos on this topic. Thanks.
@@CraftyWorkshopBuilds Of course, anyone that works on Euros knows what a task they can be. Thanks again, and any e92/N54 videos are always appreciated 😉
Nice and easy to follow. I have questions on other Audi b7 concerns. Email me or give me away to get in touch with you regarding b7 wagon concerns and best ways and products to assure strong car life
thanks for the video I really enjoyed . can you kindly make a video on replacing ABS cables or fixing speed metre on the same Audi A4 B7. thanks in advance
7:01 Well done. You're the only one who actually highlighted orientation of the lower shock. Other videos don't show it, don't mention it.
much respect👍🏽
