- A division of The Empire Group of Cos. just sold a luxury apartment community it built in downtown Phoenix, as the Scottsdale developer gears up to begin construction on what will become Arizona's tallest tower a few blocks away.
It's about time Phoenix gets some taller buildings.
i cant wait for this
Awesome! More of this with trains and light rail 🚈
Cant wait!!
There are cities a lot smaller than Phoenix that have taller buildings! Examples: Ok. City and Austin Texas. Even the new planned building is a runt compared to those.

A city city...shoot me
You can always move out to the burbs
Move then bro.
Time for me to collect a trillions
A big city blocking gorgeous views. Sad.
It’s not that tall and it will compliment the mountains. If you don’t like it there’s Peoria and Scottsdale
There’s no shortage of views already in the city
Then go to Tucson
It’s really not that tall lol it’s just big for Phoenix.
@@user-nv2mr6nn7c how will we see the 2000’ tall mountains behind this 500’ building when I go to the airport once a year? Lol
It’s about time. Phoenix skyline is pathetic. It looks 50 years. Can’t wait to see it…
Who cares about this building 50% of all workers on the building will be from out of state works! Its going to over priced restaurants and apartments. How does that help the average person trying to find a affordable place to live. Plus is the country going to be giving them a tax break on this property?
I don't know if you've realized but downtown Phoenix isn't for the average person, thats what Glendale and Mesa are for, downtown is catering to the richer peeps and that's ok, you people get mad about everything.
You must be one miserable person. Glad I don’t know you….
You need affordable, move to Maryvale or Alabama. You’ll fit right in…
@@AZGT350 I have lived in Maryvale 56 years. I OWN two homes in the area. I don't pay a mortgage I receive rent.
Ugh! This is a HORRIBLE idea!
Nah
No
Explain?
@@speakingofgreg I don’t want to see tall buildings in Phoenix. I want to see the mountains.
@@thomasitataylor6450 Given how spread out Phoenix is you'll be able to see mountains from anywhere. Downtown Phoenix is not the entirety of the city. Phoenix is 517 mi². The mountains will always be visible. Not to mention 530 something feet is not excessively tall. That's pretty average for a skyscraper. Chill.
