Sea glass is old bottles that have been tumbled in the water for years until the rough edges have been polished and has a frosty appearance. Those are worth money. What this guy was finding was someone's trash left behind on the beach. Real sea glass is aged.

Sorry, but I would throw some of those pieces back....too sharp and still shiny. Half baked.

I have found at Virginia Beach and Outer Banks beaches, and I have heard the beaches around the Chesapeake Bay are good for glass hunting, too.

No, not diamonds! Nobody would get rich from picking up pieces of broken bottles. It's just a hobby. But I still enjoy it.
