your tutorials are great except that you don't explain why you're doing things very much. It would help to understand why we're doing things so we can internalize and recreate the effect without having to watch the whole tutorial second by second and copying the exact settings every time

Hey, great tutorial! I'm wondering where you got the Flicker and Displacer Pro effects from (doesn't look like they're in default AE)?
Those are plugins. Displacer pro is free
