Ichiban : H I G H O N C R A C K.
@@lizdevilz7271 good luck with that, also if you ever try it you can go directly to the second game and in the extras part of the menu there's a cutscene which summarizes the plot from the first game, since the english patch of the first is basically unplayable
@@lizdevilz7271 yeah, they're doing the localization for the first, the english patch we have right now is so buggy a main mission about following a guy makes the whole thing crash lol
@@skell6134 Well at the start of the game he says that he imagines every fight like it was in RPG but still only uses his brawling style (freelancer job) and sees enemies as they really are. It's only after he gets in Ijincho and pulls a baseball bat out of concrete when he starts seeing his opponents changing into various forms and changes his job to Hero where he fights with the bat he just pulled out. Also when facing final boss Ichiban temporarily switches back to his original fighting style and whole fight feels more real and much less crazy.
@@skell6134 Actually not, I was playing on hard, my freelancer job was around level 20-30 and I had absolutely no problem winning. However do not expect it to be that easy because fights before that are much harder, but at least you can use any job you want on them.
Technically it's a fourth wall vision. Ichiban is the only one who is self-aware in the game - a super power he received by playing dragon quest as a kid and building his personality around it...
The decision to make Kasuga have schizophrenia or something similar to it, is the funniest shit as wacky shit has some context, then again, yakuza will still find ways to out whack things
Like a dragon feels like it doubled down on the ridiculousness of yakuza and I'm so confused and i love every second of it
Exactly

Yakuza 7 is by far the trippiest Yakuza game I've ever played.
Most likely because Ichiban himself is tripping almost the whole game.

This game is the embodiment of the phrase “fuck it”
1:27 They missed the chance to put "MONKE" on the tractor. I don't know about Japan, but it usually says CAT on the side in America.
That's cause cat is the brand name

@@soraakahymn9443 more like if Majima, Nishiki, and Kiryu all morphed together. Ichiban is the embodiment of "Chaotic Badass".
Ichiban's tattoo reflects Nishiki's desire to be a dragon as a koi

Ryu ga gotoku: and that's how a normal game it's made
