I think its hilarious that SEPTA spent a good amount of money putting in Elevators at 13, 15th, and 30th Street Trolley Stations, yet um the Trolleys ARE NOT wheel chair compatible lol. so what the hell are the elevators for? The only reason SEPTA keeps the Subway Surface lines is because a lot of money went into building the tunnel from 30th to 40th Street Station. removing the trolleys would mean abandoning miles of rails and tunnels. They built the tunnels because Penn State got tired of the trolleys coming down Woodland Ave every 5-10 minutes. They block traffic, making it impossible for cars to pass, and students couldn't get across the street. So Penn State complained to the city and the tunnel was built. "Next Stop 40th Street for routes 11,13,30,34,36" um you're on the 11 you cant transfer to the Route 11 FROM the 11 lol der SEPTA?
