Mexico did pay for a bit of it through tariffs just as trump laid out in his plan. Texas hasn't been able to build a wall because the federal government has been claiming that texas doesn't have the right to build a border wall. After numerous court cases, texas has just recently been given the right to build their own wall. Also the border is a federal issue. The federal government should take responsibility and build a wall. Congress has refused to build this wall for a long time now, so we really should be pressuring them to do a better job. I'm not trying to be rude but I feel like you could do a better job of looking into these topics from a non-partisan perspective. It would do you a lot of good.
