😻Dr. Tahir's relief when he sees the picture of the catfish and realizes (thankfully) that catfish does not contain cats!! 🐟😻🐟
No, but there are a lot of cats who would like to contain fish!
@Dravengal lol! 😂
And they are raised on “ farms”! ( special ponds where they are kept well fed till maturity)
😅😅😅
ya'll are missin out, Cat is delicous
Tahir is not only funny, he's smart in an analytical way too. He saw the picture of the catfish and knew instantly why it's called a "Cat-Fish". He always gets to the basics of things and finds the relationship between them and his own experiences, no matter how foreign those things are to him. Good guy - and I am sure that he is the "Life of the Party".
You know what I really like about these videos? Reading the comments and seeing all the friendly warm things that people from around the world have to say about these guys, it's heartwarming to read and it gives me hope and optimism.
I'm so agree! First enjoying our friends, second enjoying the comments. It's the cherry on the cake.
Wow it's like all the division in the world is artificial so billionaire oligarchs can continue to be billionaire oligarchs.
It kinda makes me want to come to their village and have them serve me some of their favorite tribal dishes...they can film my reaction!
Frankly speaking I subscribed this channel to read comments......it gives me comfort and I feel like I'm in company of good people, kind hearted, warm not to forget that these tribal are awesome and we are here because of them and because of creators of this channel. I want to live in a kind world free of war and hatred...❤
1:13 Bless this man. I’m 50 and I’ve never considered why it’s called catfish before, but now I know. Doh! 😂
Rana Nadeem must be aware he is become the internet star; now he's winking to his fans while eating. 😅🤣🤣😂
I lost it when he did that 😂😂😂
Right🤣🤣🤣
He can do that, he has wonderfull shiny eyes 🥰
He's a cutie! Beautiful, deep, and compassionate eyes
Yes you can tell he's hamming it up for the camera. I noticed that in the last couple months of their videos lol
"You can eat shark too, if it spares you." A classic Tahir!!! I really wish I could meet them one day. These guys are great!!
he's laughing a lot in this video. Bless him.

Very good comment!! Greetings and respect to all from Durango Mexico 🇲🇽

He needs to stop giving medical advice. He says if you are a cardiac patient then this fried food will be good for you. No fried food is good for a cardiac patient. How can you make medical claims of you have never even heard of the food. Just by tasting it. He thinks he knows the nutritional information. Bad advice. Bad choice to give it. Telling people things you don't know for sure, is the same thing as lying.
@@autismpointofview4031 How about you do some actual research before you speak like you know what you're talking about. He is correct. Oils don't directly cause high cholesterol it all has to do with the fat content and what kind of fats they are. Yeah Americans die of heart disease so often because the oils they use to cook most of their foods are absolutely loaded with bad fats, like saturated fats.
There is a reason why heart disease and obesity isn't very common in their country, and they cook with just as much oil as Americans do.
@@janemba42 in a new video he tells you that if you eat a certain chicken from Korea, covid won't hurt you. So is that an argument over oil fat content. Like that people with heart issues should eat salty foods…. 🤔
@@jaredf6205 I tend to believe him more than western pharmalobbyists with their brainwashed, payed doctors.....
@@jaredf6205 They should, look up dr Eric Berg or dr Sten Ekberg. Sodium as well as potassium regulates our ability of metabolizing anything as well as lets insulin do its job properly. If you eat right amount of potassium and sodium, your body is metabolizing everything therefore there's no clogging in artheries. Clogging appears when body is not capable of using everything we give it. Too little sodium or too little potassium is dangerous for your heart and artheries.
@@micha2009 ok, well enjoy dying from an easily curable disease because you've ignored medical science for witch doctor bs. Do you even know what roll sodium plays in your body? It has nothing to do with pharmaceutical companies, it's chemistry and biology.
@@kingofwesteros9868obviously you need sodium to live, but chronic hypernatrimia from too much sodium intake damages the heart and blood vessels. It causes hypertension and can lead to heart disease.
There's a method of fishing for these in shallow water called noodling. The fisherman blindly puts his hand into an underwater areas that might have a fish. The fish bites their hand and they grab it. The advantage is getting a meal without fishing equipment, the disadvantage is you have to get in the water and be prepared for a fight.
To not cover noodling was a truly missed opportunity for this video.
there is a tad bit more. noodling out in deep water is often prohibited. also these days a number of people are using cameras to see what is there so they don't waste time, potentially cutting up their hands.
The catfish I used to eat weighed maybe a couple of pounds, but the noodling videos I've seen are for huge, 80-100lb (?) fish. It's a crazy sport!.
@@corrywhatever3516 you dont want to eat a catfish that big. Catfish eat alot of toxic stuff. the smaller, younger ones havent had a change to eat so much crap and taste alot better.
I totally agree with various others, I love those guys...but I feel so contented reading the kind and often humourous comments, like I've found " my tribe" ! 74 from UK living in central Portugal..

I love how stoked they get on our cuisine. I'd love to partake in everyone of the tribe's local dishes!
Anyway, these always make me cheerful. Always lovely to watch these.
You can get fish fry mixes that has less salt, Fried Catfish is a staple food in the south, most catfish is Farm raised. I like my fried catfish with Tabasco Hot Sauce.
I like them, too. Very good with fries and shrimp
We rarely had catfish when i grew up but I like it and occasionally but catfish nuggets. These are uncooked chunks of catfish that i fry or cook with tomatoes and onions.
It never was a staple food in my Southern home, but we do have a bunch of catfish restaurants in our area so some people must love it. Now we eat no fried food in our home so we must be bad Southerners. Southern foods have led to a Southern plague of obesity and diabetes. You won't find Satan's sweet tea in my home either. I can't have anything good anymore or it sends my blood sugar through the roof. If only I had Tahir's medical wisdom growing up I'd be fine.

Fun fact about cat fish, those whiskers or moustache are called barbels and they are for tasting food around them. That saying about not to drink milk after eating fish that Tahir mentioned......that saying was also in rural Southern Alabama area of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Elderly people have told me that here in their recollections of simpler times. I see many other similarities of the rural people here with our friends on this channel.
I like these folks, especially Tahir and Mama, because they remind me of my own people. I hear that a lot from other viewers too.
I'm Mexican-American and also heard the same thing growing up. I always wondered why we couldn't drink milk after having fish or seafood.
Hmm. Maybe too much protein therefore inflammation? I have eczema and that sounds like a recipe for a flare up esp since the milk is fresh.
@@lumilight8229 vitiligo isn't an inflammation, it's a lack of melanin in an area of the body. Michael Jackson had vitiligo, it's why he started wearing a glove (the patches started on the hand), then finally bleached his skin entirely. There are at least 2-3 forms of vitiligo. I was born with it. No inflammation, though it is related to Lupus. Just patches of white on my otherwise tan body, and it's everywhere: tummy, legs, face. I was picked on as a kid because of it, so made it my mission as a youth to learn all I could about it. The seafood/milk thing I'd never heard of, but apparently wives tales link it to the fungal version of vitiligo (I'd never heard of it, but maybe that's not a 3rd version, but the version MJ had, and my research didn't explain it was fungal in those cases).

Quick tip: when you buy catfish fillets you'll notice a thin layer of darker meat. If you shave that off the fish won't have such a strong taste.
