That probably WAS a riverbed 800 years ago. There was quite a bit more rainfall back then, and the indigenous people lived all over the area. They had enough water to grow crops in pretty much any low-laying area, where the water would pool, and would carry water from a source when they had to. That whole area is covered with ruins of their houses and "irrigation" systems.
I lived in Mountainaire for a while, and spent some time exploring the canyons.
Keep a kitchen box, with all the spices and utensils you might need, along with your camp stove. Then there's one box to grab, with everything you need to cook. Looking forward to seeing the RTT that I know you'll be getting soon!

Your vibe is awesome man! Where in AZ is this? Flagstaff?
Also, how does your wife like the ride quality on the Bilsteins? I have a 16 F150 and eventually will be upgrading the suspension.
    Great content!

Thanks Ryan! And yes it's in the flagstaff area! Tons on great places to explore up there.
She has no complaints on the suspension. Mostly because I lower the tire pressure to about 22 psi on the trail. Feels great! On road quality is a little bit stiffer but not uncomfortable. She loves driving the truck regardless!
I just put out a new video on some of my more in detail thoughts on the bilsteins if you haven't seen it already! There's timestamps if you don't want to watch the whole thing 👍
