Every Pittsburgh kid, upon getting their driver’s license, is told by their father “I know you’ll do things I don’t approve of, but DO NOT go to Homewood, Homestead or any place with “rocks” in it. No home. No rocks.” Fathers don’t even explain why. Something about the way they say it tells you everything and you slowly learn, by watching the news, why.
There are a lot of grown men in that neighborhood that still claim Crip on the internet then when something happens it’s omg why does this keep happening. Some of the adults there are part of the problem.
