EJ watched you over at NSF and absolutely love your videos of starship. Amazing knowledge of space craft. I have to say i like your reactions to everything. You are so funny. Thanks for the streams and being on NSF with the team. Amazing. Can't wait till Friday NSF weekly Update. Can't wait for your anaylsis of starship. Oh i subbed your channel now i know where to find you. Thanks EJ.
A REAL SHAME THAT THE R.C.S. COLD GAS THRUSTERS DIDN'T CORRECT THE RE-ENTRY ANGLE AND ORIENTATION OF THE SHIP BUT THERE WILL BE A MOUNTAIN OF ENGINEERING DATA THAT WAS RECORDED FROM THIS FLIGHT THAT IS GOLD TO THE ENGINEERS TO IMPROVE IFT-4 ! ! !👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
The camera is on the flap (they even mention that), so the view angle changes as it moves, leading people to think it's not stabilized at the right angle.
All I could think seeing the tumbling and the reentry was thats must have been what Columbia looked like on its final reentry. Only difference here is we knew there was something wrong. They had no idea that they wouldn't make it home.
@EJ_SA - What happened to your great videos about your road trip across the U.S.A? Those are fantastic, yet they are not here anymore. :( What happened? :( I wanted to see all of them. That was one of your most popular events of all time.
There needs to be a one piece or at least two piece heat shield jacket. Individual tiles allow for localised failure resulting in catastrophic loss. With 3d printing this should be explored.
On second thought, I’m glad SpaceX didn’t try to re-ignite in the event of post-entry success because those poor 6 raptors were getting absolutely cooked by Mother Nature

Terminal Velocity for the Booster is apparently around 1000 Kph. Starship's flaps don't have any control authority at 100 Km. At 10 Km yeah. Not 100. Starship's mass is just too high even when empty. They're gonna need beefier RCS. More muscle. Dracos anybody? :) Boy you're hard to find on YT. EJ_SA ? Oh well. Subbed. ;)

"Keeping the starship and booster intact was not one of our objectives for this mission", SpaceX. 😆
OnlySpaceX lmao
It really wasn’t.
Just found your channel… fun time seeing you react 😮
Plenty more of where this came from. EJ streams on Twitch under the same username! :D
if you are a fan of kerbal or stem in general, he's a great creator
I like your enthusiasm, got my sub. 😁
If you like the content, there's plenty more over on EJ's Twitch, plus the RUclips VODs channel if you prefer the video format.
Was truly epic. I love your excitement. I was feeling the same.
EJs face at the end LMFAO

Chill bro,the starship only had 3 flights and its still in development

@@ramonsaldanha4841 ok,ur right but it did escape out of control

Most of that rapid movement was the camera itself.
The camera was attached to the front fin port side.
@@renesoucy3444I'm really craving tacos by the way. 😅

theyve got a thermal blanket beneath the heat shield already
im still sitting here wondering, what in the hell are they putting in that steel LMAOO

they were never going to do that, it was going to be a hard splashdown.
I dont think it's rcs was strong enough to correct its roll or orientation, leading to it disintegrating.
Am I the only one that needs your reaction to IFT-4?!

Was not slowing down....over .25,000 km/hr when signal lost. No splashdown of the vehicle, just molten chunks of stainless steel
What are the thing flying past the starship, they look like birds !
Pieces of starship
Ice.
ice and supposedly tiles
The pez door stayed open lol
?
no, the door did close

Starship will need more powerful gas thrusters to align right during reentry, fins are kind of useless at the Karman line…
rolling was nominal at some point. Bcause it helps to slow down the vechile.
how would rolling a cylinder help it slow down?
@@faxinspace i was wrong actually. İt helps for cooling down while entry burn
She was trying so hard…
No more cosmopolitan for u next time
They have a bunch of work to do on the RCS system. That was underwhelming! Tumbling on re-entry BAD!
