The singular weapons 'expert' the Pawn Stars team had knew about as much as the guy that sniffs paint behind the gun counter. Not shit. A old friend is a TRUE expert, he went to work for many years at a large gun companie. To be more specific, FNH USA and FNH Germany. He learned every gun of the past from the company and all the competers past so, they can snatch a non-pattend design and see if it may fix an issue in another gun. He was one of a few hundred guys where, they had a large desk, a gun cloth and a tool kit. He took guns apart day in day out looking for better designs and design flaws. He did it for a good 40 years. He LOVED his job. He is the true gun expert.
I remember watching the show and going past the store so many times when I lived in Las Vegas and I didn't know the store I passed all the time was the one in the show.
Aside from the material, I really appreciate you documenting the timecode for each personality. I wish more people who upload to youtube would do the same!

Great job! I'd like to make a special mention of Tim Arnold who is a bona-fide pinball and arcade machine guru. He is Owner operator of the Las Vegas Pinball Hall of Fame Museum and has made at least one appearance on Pawn Stars and is an all around great individual as well.
I've seen their specialists get it wrong on a couple occasions. One of them seemed obvious, it was a signed God Father script. It was signed by "AL" which Rick assumed was Al Pacino, but the inscription written above the name made it clear to me that it was signed by a producer not an actor. I quickly looked up The God Father on line and saw that one of the producers was a guy named Al Ruddy. Their expert came in with his magnifying glass and authenticated it as Al Pacino's signature. Months later is came out that the script was indeed signed by God Father producer Al Ruddy, not Al Pacino. If I'm able to figure that out in 2 seconds with my computer, how'd the Pawn Stars guy not know? I guess an Al Pacino signed God Father screenplay made for better TV. The other time I saw them get it wrong had something to do with a "signed" Bram Stoker book that was printed after the author had died...so there's no way he could have signed it.

No shit. the perks of a pawn shop is that you get cash on the spot. You don't go there to make your money back. If you want to try go on craigslist but pawn shops are there to make a profit
It is called a business and a retail operation wants to aim at a margin of at least 40% ideally 50%.
If you want full price you can go ahead and sell it yourself, takes more time generally though and that is why pawn shops work it is instant, easy and low effort on the seller's part.

The show is fake anyway. No one would want to watch someone pawning or selling a chainsaw, a TV or some tools. Put in Jimi Hendix's guitar, some rare antiques, old guns, etc. and you have a show! Fake, but fun to watch.
