Thank you so much for sharing this. I had a problem with all my washer jets they all stopped at the same time. I put a pin in the jets and also took them off the bonnet and blew them through to no avail. I guessed there had to be a blockage in the pipes somewhere. After watching your video I tried this and wow my filter was blocked with black sheets of algae also the washer bottle had loads in it. Cleaned the filter and flushed the bottle out and now they work absolutely fantastic. Thanks again.
Great video sir my rear washer stopped working ,and when i pressed the rear washer button it orerated the front not the rear hopefully this will sort it
This was really helpful thankyou! Really is a piece a pish, took about 15 mins and saved myself a bit of money by fitting a replacement motor myself! My problem was that my mondeo worked with the back washers but not the front, had checked for blockages but I had figured that wasn’t the problem. Hope this helps anybody!
Just did this, the filter wasn't blocked, but the pump was dead, swapped out a new pump. Didn't take off the wheel arch, just unscrewed the lower cover and reached in. Its quite tight to get enough room to get the pipes and electrical socket off so loosening the wheel arch may not be a bad idea. Got a replacement pump from eurocar parts for 37 quid, they are also selling another similar pump for around 3quid which the website says will fit my car but it is very different.

What was the issue? My ones doing the same just pushes out water from the back not the front

Will give it a go today and hopefully this will solve the problem. New pump is like 10-20 quid, so not a lot to lose either way.

Hi, sorry for delay…mine was clogged up as well. Bought replacement jet from eBay for £6. Easy to replace.
