    I used to watch this show on tv when I was a child. When I heard the intro music, it felt nostalgic ❤
    Thanks David. Love from Kolkata

    Bengal has been in melting pot. North Indian foods help to create our meat dishes, South Indians gave us pithas with Bengali blend and then we have Indo-European food like rolls, croquettes or chops in our language, chicken stew from Dacres Lane etc. So we have so much variety in one place. Chef David Rocco I love Bruschetta of Italy so nice to see that you also created a blended cuisine. Thanks for coming to our city.

    For God sake...Kolkata Bengalis do not use ginger garlic paste while cooking Hilsa and Vetki...you must come to my place for my mother's recipe ...the authentic Bengali cuisine

    No sound in the video twice! Why? It's very off-putting. Please fix it.

    This is most probably not rasgulla, seems like rasbhari, popular in Northern India.

    This guy has some serious issues with SWEET

  • @ekamsat429
    @ekamsat429 6 дней назад

    Nonsensical background music aside, this guy clearly states that he does not appreciate very sweet desserts, and the tone-deaf local host, who is unable to accept that, still pushes him to try the same. That's not how it's done.

    We don’t mix ginger garlic with mustard…
    Moreover in case of Hilsa we never never use ginger and galic…
    So a big big thumbs down 👎🏽

      It is bekti 😅. That's the official name other than barramundi. We Bengalis only call it bhetki

    Why this Zinger Garlic paste!!
    Non bengali chef should have the knowledge about the local culture and cuisine. I am not picky but that's the basic.
    Hilsa ke sath lasun!!!
