As an officer, First I will try to bring more Current account and savings account through the hospitality of my customers which can be given under my supervision with the active participation of employees (I consider it as the crucial factor in attracting more customers to my branch)

3.I will optimize the fixed deposits, recurring deposits, bulk deposits through which I can plan my long term loan disbursement activities.

Bank may promote low cost deposits like current and savings deposit or may be retail loans. Ex: Branch may get more compensation from HO for deposits in current account…. thus if branch has more CASA deposits, its profitability increases.Simply with fastest possible banking operations , speedy readdressal of customers Complaint.
Above all qualities will bring more customers and little bit of marketing strategy with excellent features helps bank to get more loyal customers.
More customers, more money .
More money, more profits.
By connecting more and more people with the Banking services those are not having even a bank account in bank specially the rural people
We should keep a good track of every loan sanctioned to different customers like whether the loan amount is paid on time or not , whether customer is a defaulter earlier or not.

Sir how less cash will increase profit of a branch.
Because you will use this money in interest earning bonds or loans. Cash holding does not bring any income.

Cash is hand at branch is an idle asset besides prone to risk. Branch should try its best to maintain overnight cash balance within the cash retention limit else in case of huge cash balances at branch wud attract higher TPM (,transfer price) on cash balances at beanch, branch don't get any financial benefits.
