A beautiful rendition on a beautiful guitar, an Apache 50th Anniversary edition. I have the same model (No.162) an absolute dream to play. Both you and the guitar do total justice to that tune, one I also like to play. I'm 75yrs old and so can remember the song when it was first released! Also, like you, I started playing at aged 12 and then did very little after my 20's but started again about 10yrs ago just for my own enjoyment and I'm loving it! Thank you and kind regards - Ken. Goodness Geoff, is there no limit at all to the incredible gift you have & thr ability you have to make any tune you take on, yours. I remember only too well Tha Cascades shooting up the charts here in Australia with Rhythm of the Rain & it seemed that everybody liked it. It was a magical song that hit just the right note to buyers who flocked to the record stores in droves to buy it. It must have sat at the top of the charts here for 8-10 weeks I guess, & that seemed to please everyone, especially the record label. How you've brought those memories flying back! I have to say Geoff that you have excelled yourself; this is truly a superb version. I love it, and I love it when you change guitars in the numbers - that raises the bar further. Thank you sir for this great memory & than God for the Talent He has given you to share with us all. Oh, and that you for the note about receiving messages from you. I was sure it was a scam, but wasn't sure that you knew it was happening. It's a good world out there, but there are a lot of cretins in it. Cheers mate.
