- AEW Wrestler Christian Cage gave a panel at Steel City Con April 2024 to talk about himself, abuse the audience, and give snarky answers to questions.
Christian Cage is a Canadian professional wrestler and actor. He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He is the leader of The Patriarchy faction and is a former two-time AEW TNT Champion. He is widely known for his time with WWF/E, where he performed as Christian. He is also recognized for his tenure in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).

Love how hes staying in character here.
I wish he hadn't, because he's not saying anything we haven't heard him say 1000 times before on TV. We all know what the Christian Cage character thinks, I think people would be more interested in hearing from Jason Reso.

@@thomasfranco3128 Meh, MJF's schtick got kinda old during his less than impressive world title run. Making him Adam Cole's cuck tarnished his character.
@@thomasfranco3128 I think MJF and Christian could be an interesting rivalry. Maybe in the storyline MJF, has abandoned his dad and disowned him, he becomes Christian's new son or something...and eventually turns on Christian. But he's not going to be back for awhile due to surgery. Also still has some unfinished business with, Adam Cole and Wardlow and Roderick Strong which needs to be settled with too.
The person conducting his interview was absolutely horrible.

Hopefully AEW can continue to try and keep some of these new storylines going and start mixing in multiple possibilities with Swerve. Sadly, I don’t think they’re going to go forward with any build on the AEW championship until they get it on Osperay. Just wondering how to best use Christian as the mid-Champion instead of just more vs. Copeland…
Well, neither Christian nor Copeland is going to end their career without teaming together again first, so it's a safe bet they have another program in the near future that ends with them reuniting (possibly as a heel team.)
And Christian has a World Title match with Swerve at Double or Nothing. Ask and ye shall recieve.
@@ryandavis4448 Well, that's just because half the roster is injured and Tony doesn't know how to book the other half. It's mind boggling to me that Christian gets a title shot while guys like Keith Lee sit at catering twiddling their thumbs.
@@christopheraaron8299 Christian deserves a title shot. In fact, he deserves to be champ, but idk if I'd put him over swerve tho. As for Keith Lee, he was booked in a ppv match vs Swerve a couple months ago but backed out due to injury.

I see a lot of these, and they have to pull questions out of the audience members.
The best thing that happened to AEW besides some others, still many say AEW is dying. I understand why they say so. Personally I want AEW to thrive and do best.
The interviewer should follow up and be a little more in character himself. Instead of laughing it off he should act shocked. But all in all not bad interview.

Ok Christian Cage just had an I quit match with Adam Copeland in AEW for the Television Championship about a month or so ago. So why is he still in AEW, an I quit match means I quit back in the day an I quit match means I quit the vompany and is suppose to go away for good never to come back, ex Ric Flair vs Terry Funk in the late 80s early 90s. So why is he back in the conpany after the match had taken place? Doesnt make sense to me I quit neans i quit the company correct?
nah it was about the belt. rock and mankind did it in like 98? 99 I cant remember but Mick Foley never quit after losing. Leaving the company was never part of the stipulation for Christian vs Adam Copeland.

I'm sorry but staying in character while people are asking genuine questions is a dick move. Nobody wants a promo at that particular time, they come to see the person, not the character. We're not in the 70s where you can't break kayfabe. And obviously nobody clued in the interviewer about this being a promo, I felt bad for him, it was really awkward.
Christian in his true heel form. There’s no way that flunky Nick Wayne is going to be a massive star in the business. MJF, Bron Breakker, Dom Mysterio and Hook are light years ahead of him.
